I got very ill and nearlly lost my life thanks to this practice, when i was unhappy on the phone, they had me pay $100 per visit, because of my "attitude". Then they blasted my phone when i couldnt pay the bill, (struggling with severe mental health and on a sickness benifet) i was tresspassed, they still hold my file and im looking down the barrell. Please chose another gp, or you will end up very stuck and oweing money

Refused an appointment with a nurse to check and redress a wound for my young daughter as, although I am enrolled at this clinic, my daughter had been enrolled at another clinic out of town previously. Dissapointing as it has never been a problem before.
Told they couldn't fit in a casual but would have seen me as I am enrolled.

Today (Monday 26 June) early morning we called them to book an emergency visit for our kid and after 30 mins waiting on phone, they answered with an appointment at 12pm. Asked us to stay in car in the back yard then doctor will come and take you inside. We arrived early but after 45 mins sitting in car, no one came after us. Our son was sick, hungry and very frustrated in car. I called them couple of times and every time they were telling you are the next patient. I don't understand how emergency patient can be next when there is even no another emergency case around us in the back yard. Called them again and they sent a nurse with Covid test to be done on baby. The nurse asked me to do test on our son and she disappeared quickly. I did the test and it was negative. At 1pm I called them to follow up and tell them that the test is done long time ago already, again they said you are definitely the next patient. Nothing happened in the next 15 mins as you can expect, I ranged them for the fifth time and they asked me to wait. I finally decided to take son inside from main door and see what's going on. When I entered the centre I was really shocked! There was no patient and waiting area was completely empty. I even checked some doctors, doors were open and there was no patient again. When I asked the reception what is happening and why a booked emergency case should wait while there is not even one patient here! They had no comment! A very nice doctor who said she is not in charge of emergency patients today, suggested to see our son after an hour and 20 mins waiting, finally prescribed him some antibiotics. When you pay 39% tax you could expect some sort of service for your loved ones but our experience was horrible, full of shame and dishonesty! On leave, I also took some photos. Two people in the picture came after us.

3 weeks for an appointment, i can deal with that.but the reception staff were just horrible to me and my elderly mother, the within 3 visits, we see 3 different doctors, who all gave the same excuse: theres nothing i can do because i dont know your case and i didnt see you last visit, 3 visits and $120 later we still had no treatment, ropata medical had her sorted in the first 30 minutes.

With the state of the healthcare system and limited spots for people to actually see a GP or nurse, it’s pretty important to feel satisfied and comfortable with the services provided. I’ve been with this health centre since I was a child, but an experience today has led me to go elsewhere regardless of the heavy waiting list times for most clinics.

Although the receptionist who took my call was incredibly sweet and helpful towards my situation and am genuinely thankful for her demeanour, the nurse that I was referred to on call was the complete opposite. I called regarding an infection caught overseas which both my husband (enrolled in an Auckland clinic) and I caught, after repeatedly saying we’ve tested for covid multiple times and they have all returned negative, she still insisted that we had covid even though it was a week since the infection and multiple negative tests, which was really frustrating.

We are really unsettled with the idea of not knowing what the infection was and having picked it up from a foreign country. There was no interest in exploring what it could be other than insisting it had to be covid so the advice was to keep doing rats tests and drink water. She refused to offer any advice on my husband understandably due to him not being enrolled, however a simple ‘do you know about the after hours clinic? ’ Instead of straight refusal would have been a great help to someone panicking over what to do for their partner who can’t see a GP here. It took a clinic that neither of us are even enrolled in to offer advice on going to the after hours clinic due to their lack of staff, which I didn’t even know was an option.

I understand staffing shortages and the stress on healthcare at the moment which must be really hard for staff, however I still expect a higher quality service from the nursing staff especially as a long term patient. Never had any issues with the doctors there, Cheryl archer is amazing.

We enrolled our son here 2 years ago and I can’t speak highly enough of this medical centre. From reception staff to the nurses and doctors, they are all very good. Dr Yuseif is particularly thorough and very patient with our young boy.

Just can’t get an appointment or anyone to call you back, fobbed off told to go on acute list but that’s full try tomorrow … a simple repeat of antibiotics for a sinus and chest infection is too hard? Been a patient for over 10 years and it’s just a shambles nowadays. Practice Plus is your best bet for getting an appointment!

What a mess of a medical centre, horrible experience, no treatment received. Staff just rushing people in and out very quickly with very poor service

I suffer from mental health issues and it is difficult to even gather the strength to call for an appointment, it is so disheartening when treated like an annoyance by the reception. 3 week wait times for an appointment is ridiculous and to be transferred over to the automated script line before even being able to explain my situation feels dehumanizing.
I understand staffing issues are real and it must be frustrating constantly filtering what qualifies as an emergency or not but as it stands they may as well have robots answering the phones.

Very poor service. Receptionist thinks they own the place. Go elsewhere, they don't care about your health at all.

I have been with this centre for may years now. It used to be great but things have really gone downhill. Loyalty only goes so far!

Booked a phone appointment with Dr Hadley and after missing the first call I was told I'd be called back in 15 min. After back and forth with reception and waiting 2 hours I found out that Dr Hadley had gone home!

This meant I could not get my prescription and have to wait 2 weeks on top of the already 2 week long wait to get the initial appointment.
Absolutely disgusting! I needed my medicine and now I am left hanging for a whole month.

Don't offer phone consult if you don't call back!

Tried to get a phone consult early in the morning. Explained I needed a repeat prescription for antibiotics and it was urgent and I needed to talk to a doctor. Was told it would happen in the afternoon. Got a phone call from a nurse 10 minutes before closing telling me I cannot get the prescription over the phone (even though I have before) and since it’s 5pm on a Friday I now have to go to after hours (and pay after hours prices).

This health center has average doctors which some of them being really unprofessional. The nurses are ok, however most of the receptionist are horrible, sad to say this but I felt racism cause of my origin. That’s why I left this place. I think the manager of this medical Center should consider changing its receptionist team. I personally would not recommend this medical Center to anyone!

I've moved a lot and so have had a lot of drs, I've been so impressed with the service here, the receptionists have always been super friendly and super helpful, the nurses lovely and professional and the dr we just saw was very thorough and very caring. They have always found us an appointment when my child has been sick. Best drs we've been to. Sara Mateparae

A bit hit and miss. Some doctors are great. Others couldnt care less. I expect a little more when taking my sick child to see a doctor. Even a little empathy would go a long way.

We used to be very happy, but appointments are now always late (30+ minutes), and they don't allow same-day appointments anymore. Walk-in clinic is the alternative, but then the waits are even longer.
Every time I visited there were new GP's, so lot of rotation which doesn't seem like a good sign.

Most of the doctors are good and staff is friendly, but you need to take your time.

Worse medical centre worse doctor I’ve ever been to. My sickness is still there after going to this medical centre for the first time. I was prescribed the meds which i could have brought it from the pharmacy without a prescription. I was charged $82 just for a ordinary medicine yet i am still sick. Never going back.
