I ordered kadai paneer but looks like onion and tomato curry top up with paneer. However no salt and spices no taste as they used canned tomatoes. Worst experience ever, waste of money & mood

Had the butter chicken and chicken fried rice. Butter chicken was below average for price. Fried rice was bland and tasteless. Had little to no chicken in either of the dishes.

Have been a number of times and never disappointed- fantastic service and food, always clean and fresh.

Really fun and charismatic owner and delicious curry! Great experience all round, will certainly be returning

The chicken saag wala was super tasty but apparently some of the pther dishes the table order were disappointing, so it might be dependent on the meal.

Tried to walk past but it smelled incredible so I went in; best decision I've made in a long time. The food was incredible, the service impeccable, and I'm still getting taste flashbacks nearly 24 hours later. Fast, fantastic, and every bit a contender for best curry in Wellington. Highly recommended!

Just been to the Curry Pot with my husband for dinner. I well earned break from the hospital. All I can say is AMAZING! Food was delicious and the staff were just fantastic. Will definitely be back when in welly. SERIOUSLY love this place. Was hoping we weren't still in Welly hospital but we are. Soooooo had to come back. Great place

Biriyani was flavorless and tested very bad. I don't think it's a South Indian. I will never recommend this place.

The best and reasonable restaurant in Wellington town. I had their lunch, butter chicken and paneer and it's really authentic. Vegetarian Lunch for 10.50.waw, must try. Butter chicken also was delicious.

I reckon Curry Pot has the best Indian food in Newtown, possibly Wellington. Great selection of dishes for vegetarians. Prices are pretty reasonable. Definitely top choice for those nights you want a proper curry.

This is an amazing place, with a variety of food options to fit all and a genuinely great atmosphere to eat and socialise. The customer service is great and the food portion and taste is amazing. This is the Indian gem of Newtown!

I eat curry a lot. I cook it frequently. I eat it out. I order in.

Got a prawn saag with plain naan delivered last night.

The most bland curry I've ever had. The naan was soggy. There is nothing I can say that is good about the meal I had delivered. I will not be eating the leftovers. Unheard of!

Easy to forget to review your "regular". I often dine in at the Curry Pot because the food is good and the service fantastic. The staff know our names and hot level preferences.suppose its so good we keep going back. I have tried most of the vege menu over the years and cant fault it.
