The Flying Burrito Brothers reviews
64Awesome restaurant with awesome staff. We loved our burritos there. They have a kind of special coriander coating which made a very special nice, fresh taste. My wife and I loved it
I think this is my favourite place ever! Amazing food great atmosphere even reasonable pricing! Can't fault
Amazing food! The fried chicken and fajitas are to die for; great flavor and heat. Service could be a bit slow but the drinks were delicious and helped pass some time.
Staff were wonderful and friendly and service was amazing, food had a very overpowering vinegar taste to it and had a bit more spice than i was hoping ordered the pulled pork tacos. Drinks were great. Overall not terrible but a bit of a shame about the flavour of the food.
It was super busy and there was a wait for mains, but the staff kindly found us a table and the service was great - plenty to enjoy, we split.selection of small plates and loved it. Would definitely go back to try their mains!
Had a great experience here. Liked the vibe and loved the food. Margarita jugs weren't half bad either! Staff were friendly. Fun to be seated downstairs and the space was really well decorated/themed.
Good food and attentive wait staff. The Frozen Margaritas which are normally a highlight from FBB were unfortunately pretty average. Thankfully they sell queso by the bucket load, so I can forgive them!
Had been on holiday in Wellington, My Girlfriend and i shared the tacos for dinner.
Turns out we both got food poisoning on the plane on our way home, Thinking about it now the place was extremely dirty.
Not happy at all and have never been so sick.
Going to take this further as a friend of mine works for the health department.
Amazing Mexican food, amazing staff. Worth the wait if they don't have a table immediately. The food is great, the service is fast and the drinks are delicious.
Went here as a special treat for my son's birthday. They were very accommodating allowing us to move to another table with more space. The food was delicious we were able to bring our own cake for a small fee, they kept it in the fridge then brought it out singing happy birthday. They even had a Sombrero for him to wear. Great service.
One of my favourite restaurants in Wellington! Food is sooo nice! Quesadillas and burritos are our favourite! The churros are also amazing and come with lots of different dips! Prices are quite high but worth it as a treat!
Most amazing mushroom tacos I have ever had, absolutely fantastic service and awesome set up! Will definitely go again:)
Where we were sat was cute and tucked away nicely with loads of privacy however the lighting was terrible and I couldn't read the menu without a flashlight.
The food was great we had a couple of the tacos and would highly recommend the mushroom one!
For drinks we had the margarita jugs one slushy and one on the rocks. The classic slushy wasn't very good didn't taste of much at all. Although the one on the rocks we had was their mango fruit one, this one was awesome.
We had travelled from Hawkes Bay to a funeral, so a big day. Dinner at FBB's was relaxing, service was really the best, friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were delicious, a great end to our day.
The initial service was a really slow to take our orders and get our drinks, but the rest of the service was good. I had the Chilli con Queso starter, which was tortilla chips with a slightly chilli cheese sauce dip. Very yummy dip and not at all spicy. For mains I had the Mole Blanco, chicken in flour tortilla covered in white sauce and cheese which I hadn't had before, and it was really tasty. You also got to try their watermelon cocktail - so good! Always a very vibey loud restaurant. Great for families.
Went there last week and I must say it was quite exquisite. Food was amazing and the chef should be proud! Will 100% go there again and bring the boys. However they have no souvlaki
My partner and I had dinner here on New Year's Day, what a cool place!
I had Quesadilla de Hongos, super tasty, lots of cheese and mushrooms, my partner had Enchiladas Frijoles, super tasty too, really good portions. We shared Hongos Fritos, buttered mushrooms, which were a revelation.
Super friendly staff! Defo recommend it!
Nice food nice environment. My only suggestion for improvement would Benton have waiting staff assigned to tables. We had 4 different staff ask us what we would like to order, as we were waiting for someone to arrive.
You don’t go here for a romantic dinner for two. You go here for a great night out, excellent food, good staff and great food! Its a wellington institution that can get crowded but thats part of its charm, noisy mayhem give it a try its well worth it!
Best Mexican food I've tasted! The atmosphere alone gives you a full on Mexican experience. Mageritas could do with some work though.
