What I really like about the VG is that the staff care about what it is you are asking them to do. Jewelry is very personal and there is often a story "behind" a piece being crafted - the moreso if a piece is being "re jigged". Once again VG came up trumps with my gold wedding band which needed repair and reconstruction. I am delighted with the result, and the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. Thank you once again.

I've bought a couple of products, an engagement ring and then we got our wedding rings. It was just a lovely combination professional but relaxed, great quality but not snobby.

I recently had two rings redesigned by the VG. Their service is outstanding. Communication concise, clear and timely. Beautiful design no matter how small the job may be. I had my engagement ring designed by VG many years ago and every time I return I remain impressed. Always First choice when thinking jewellery.

Really original and unique jewellery, good prices. I really like the range of colours of semi precious stones in the jewellery that VG make.

Took my 2 platinum rings in to be polished up. They did it in less than an hour and for a very reasonable price. Other jewellers were wanting to charge me a lot more and take 1-2 weeks. The premises is beautiful too.

I had a really bad experience at The Village Goldsmith today. I was wanting to resize my engagement ring that I purchased from a different jeweller while living abroad. The assistant said they did not have capacity to resize the ring (understandable, it happens!)

I took issue with the fact that she did not know when they would have capacity (I may have waited until they had capacity) and she was unable to recommend an alternative reputable jeweller.

I went to The Village Goldsmith as I trusted them as I purchased my eternity ring from them within the last 4 years. Not helping a customer when you can't service them is a bad experience.

If anyone else experiences the same from the Village Goldsmith, the answer is Partridge Jewellers. I found them through my own research and the service experience was perfection.

I purchased a wedding ring for my wife overseas in early 2022. Throughout the transaction, we hit some hiccups, all the staff were very nice and patient, worked everything out at the end. I meant to leave this 5 star review a while back. Truly enjoyed doing business with the Village Goldsmith and my wife loves her ring! Would highly recommend

Started with Village Goldsmith when am engagement ring from elsewhere went horribly wrong. Brought the diamond to them and they turned it around really quickly - and exactly how we wanted it.
Have since used them for a tennis bracelet.

I had a special ring designed for me by Charlotte, she did an amazing job and really listened to what I wanted. The whole process from start to end was really excellent lots of time to make any changes, I even had a 3D printed plastic ring to try first to ensure I was happy with ring. The end result is just amazing and perfect
