Thunderbird Cafe reviews
62I really enjoyed my smoothie here. Atmosphere was great, looking forward to trying a Bailey's hot chocolate soon!
Stumbled across this funky cafe for brunch today. Waited a while to get served and then to receive our food. However we did enjoy our breakfast burger with curly fries (sadly no frings). Coffee hit the spot too.
Stopped for coffee abd glad that it was open on a Sunday. Good coffee. Didn't eat. Not many people so quiet and good for conversation.
Great salad and I had a very interesting sparkling water with salted cucumber and mint. It is fairly pricey
Burgers are pretty good but nothing to write home about. Avoid the calamari (horrendous) and chicken wings (bland). Jalapeno Poppers were great however portion was on the small side.
#Food: ok.
#Atmosphere: Dead. Need a facelift or new Furniture for a better atmosphere.
#Service: the staff is just doing their job. They need motivation
The location and the size give the place a great potential
Was looking for a local place in town that had some keto options, found Thunderbird Cafe and it has a specialized keto menu. The food came out quick and was really enjoyable, been back twice since.
Not the best today - the onion rings were overcooked and at one point the chef in the back was having a meltdown.
The lamb burritos were spot on, as was the wait staff.
It's been a few years since we went there, as the food and service was going downhill fast. Recently been back, and big changes have been made, service and food are back on point. Love the breakfast burrito, and there is a great range of kids options too.
Excellent coffe.
I did get caught out by the early closing time so we missed a meal sadly.
They have keto nibbles and suchlike here.
Food is average, portions are small and they charge you $5 for a slice of tomato. Wouldn’t recommend
This place is nice. It is a little on the pricey side of things though, so best to save some money before visiting. This is to be expected though due to economy issues. Pleae don't let this put you off going here though. Please support this local establishment either way
The coffee was spot on, and the breakfast burrito was amazing!
Good venue with a fun and unique atmosphere.
Friendly staff
Great location
Well priced
Thunderbird Biggy needs improving better sausage.
I ordered my second coffee and I still waiting.
I have allergies and the staff knew exactly what to recommend stay away from. I didn’t need to explain anything. Smart people. Great service.
Awesome Bacon and Egg Buttie on a Brioche bun although the coffee was a bit cold. Staff friendly and service quick
Absolutely fantastic brekkie place! Staff was very friendly and caring. Special shout out for shorthaired waitress. Amazing service!
Went there two mornings in a row for breakfast when visiting wellington. Was ideal. Great choices, good coffee. Excellent service. Prices very reasonable. Muesli with yoghurt and fruit the first breakfast, breakfast tacos the next. Both very yummy. Highly recommended.
No complaints about the food but the kitchen is super slow. 45 min wait for 5 breakfasts when there was only a few people in the cafe. This kitchen needs to lift its game. We got places to be.
