Tables were dirty, kids high chairs were dirty, food was over priced and tasted not the best, won’t be going back

My first time in here and it was really good. I didn't get a photo of my big cooked breakfast but it looks the same as the other photos of the same meal on here. The food was really tasty and very enjoyable. The staff were really nice and friendly.

Super yummy and service with a smile! Sausage tasted a bit weird but everything else was super tasty and delish! Fast service and really friendly! Thanks guys!

Work locally. 2 staff members behind the counter in the morning. Neither thought it necessary to serve me and take my money. Walked out and have never returned. DO NOT GO TO THIS CAFE! Unless you want to be ignored and treated like S&$T!

They didn't have full cream milk and only offered trim

My 16 year old likes eating from here. The coffee is good. Not very coeliac friendly, I have the an eggs with no toast. The eggs are always good

If I could give 10 stars I would! The owners are so lovely and caring. They've watched my son grow and treat him like family, the food is consistently great every time which is hard to find. Same with the coffee. Clean and comfortable environment. Fast and friendly service, nothing negative to say!

First time here. And definitely won't be the last. Usual customer of the clocktower across the road. The egg Benny and the big breakfast was perfect. No drama everything was on point. Think top one has found itself a new customer.

Song and his beautiful wife & great staff run a really cheerful, unassuming, spotlessly clean & well priced cafe in the centre of Jackson Street, Petone. The food is wholesome, cabinet or menu & the short black coffees (with a splash of milk) are particularly good! The cafe is 7 days a week and the seating is well spaced out.

Bought the top one big breakfast for $20 and it was very small. Would have been ok if the quality was good too, but it wasn't unfortunately. I don't normally complain but receiving the very small breakfast on a big plate seemed very cheeky and deceiving. You could count the chips on the palm of your hand - it wasn't worth having it on the plate. Very disappointed.

Tasty, freshly made food& something for everyone. Delicious lemon curd muffins. We'll be back

We wanted something simple for lunch. The cabinet had a good range of food: sandwiches, pies, rolls and sweet slices and so on. Coffee was good.

Overpriced $14 for Fruit and Pancakes waiting 45 minutes didn’t bother me until it came out to me with (2 small pancakes) which wasn’t fresh and warm fruit not fresh with alot of cream to hide the pancakes. Disappointed told the cafe owner showed him he refused to listen and no refund!

On Jackson St in Petone. Very good selection of Bakery food. Fast smiley service and good coffee.

They are always consistent clean great prices and lovely staff I have taken many people there to eat from all four corners of the country

Greeted by smiling staff. Fresh looking food in the cabinet and a good menu including Big Breakfast. Bacon & zucchini slice was well cooked, tasty and filling. Eggs Benedict was well presented. Coffees and hot chocolate were served quickly.lots of foam on top and 2 marshmallows. Tables and soft couch seating areas too. Newspaper to read. Nice to sit in the window and watch the shoppers in the street.
