Tussock Bar and Cafe reviews
21Its like the best place for food. I dont know what else to say. If you havnt had a spicy chicken triangle from Tussock your lot living you best life. YOLO to the MAX. The coffees like coffee im cup made with great expectations and fuel the next gemeration of creative genoualy. Serously they are ser img amd keeping alive some serilusly potential famous people that are not famous yet. They all will say I remeber my days at tussock fondly. Make sure you also the cheese scones so they get sold. Also happy hour off the grid epic. 25per cent off drinks yo yo yo letsss gooooo. So dont make your trip to the campus of our generation without a meal at Tussock. Peace out homies.
Extortionate prices for coffee, but generally good. Good location for uni students but obviously taking advantage of the monopoly
Nice burgers and paninis. A good range of options overall and well catered for vegetarians.
These gronks charge $5.00 for a toastie. White bread, Cheese and onions. Please show me the books to help one understand the cost of a simple toastie. Really taking advantage of poor students that need to eat over long study periods. Second note. Your guys coffee may be the worst I've ever tasted on planet earth.man needs caffeine however.sugonma
Unfriendly, cold staff who act as though the customers are a burden to them. Unflavored milkshakes really topped it off for me. Although it is incredibly convenient with a nice large space, I will not be returning to avoid facing the arrogant staff once again.
Spacious cafe with good food and very friendly staff. Prices are also very reasonable and it is one of the best places on the Massey campus for exterior views. It could use some more support from the University in terms of signage as the cafe is somewhat difficult to find.
1 star update: almost no options for anyone with dietary restrictions. No options at all if you have more than one restriction. This cafe is definitely not appropriate as the sole provider for a university campus.
3 stars: Not a bad place to eat, most things are tasty but some of the prices are a bit high considering the main customer base is students and there's not really anywhere else to get food in the area. Staff are usually friendly.
Food like pies are reheated in the microwave though, so they end up pretty soggy when you eat them, and sometimes slices with nuts aren't labelled very well in the cabinet. Also the regular coffee size is really small.
Would not recommend ordering the fries and samosas/spring rolls, it's mostly fries and a couple of samosas from the frozen section at the supermarket.
Wedges were incorrectly labeled as "CHIPS". And cost $6.50? !? ! Exsqueeze me? !? ! Asked for sugar with my Black coffee! And the lady directed me as to where to get it rather than finding it for me, forcing me out of my chair which hardly supported my weight. 二百五
Fantastic service. Very friendly and helpful. Great place to get a snack, meal or just relax with a coffee.
Good food, decently priced! They close the kitchen about 1 hour before closing, but cabinet food is still available!
Tussock is the cafe-bistro on the Wellington campus of Massey university. The selection of food is good, the prices are a tad high but so is the quality of food. The staff there are approachable, helpful and friendly.
Very impressed. A University cafe of a high standard. Wide and delicious range of food and great vibe.
I had to shout my order the other day cause it was busy and I feel guilty for shouting at the cashier
Random basic place for first year random basics.
" I'm an alcoholic" part in the student culture? Bars have no place in educational facilities.
Good value for options for hungry teenaged students. Coffee was good. Nice sunny courtyard for alfresco dining on warm days.
Service was impeccable and so friendly. Options were good with vegatarian fare a must. Being able to select ones own music is a bonus too
Staff were amazing, food was great, venue was perfect for what we wanted. Great place to host a work function.
Student centric quality food at not quite regular retail prices. Acceptable for the people it serves.
Staff are great, but food is average. Please consider using less plastic, and also increase your number of foods for gluten free and vegan customers (hint, we don't just want to eat birdseed slice ;) Thanks!:)
A big variety of very fresh looking pies, slices, sandwiches and quiches. The staff are friendly and attentive.
