Had the dinner and breakfast buffet. Generally yummy food with lots of options. Wish there were chilli sauces for people who like spicy food.

We all had a lovely time and the food was great, my grandbaby made a huge mess yet her mess from trying so many new foods was cleaned up quickly without comment. Thank you for making 2 mothers' day awesome.

Did the Chocolate High Tea here and it’s absolutely wonderful! The varieties of chocolate and also savoury is so good. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend it.

Cold salat is tasteless, mushroom sauce including ham which written in a label as vegan sauce mushroom. Friendly staff

My 2nd time to have high tea at Whitby. Everything is perfect. Bottomless tea selection - very generous! One of the best high tea place in Wellington. Will definitely visit again.:)

We had the high tea, hosted by Moira (who was so fantastic!) All the lovely loose leaf teas you can drink, which she brewed for us throughout the experience. Excellent food, not sure how they managed strawberries in June. Highly recommend if you want a cute date. ️‍

Food was just ok. Not a lot of variety, went there twice in a week and the food quality has been just ok in both cases. Clean and tidy. More variety of food is needed. Sea food options looked good but not changed as often as other foods.

Loved it lovely ambience friendly staff great food.went early bird as had a child so well worth $47 if you hungry lol

Just had the best High Tea hosted by Lance, who was knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely go again. Thankyou Lance.

Best breakfast buffet in wellington, hands down.variety of options for kids.they love going here.very good ambience and space in terms of seating and views.the chef makes hot omelette in the bar. All of this and just 26$. Great deal for wellington standards. Good day out with family!

Quite a good place to enjoy good food and desserts. Buffet is a little bit pricey though if you are not a big eater. Nice live music compliments the dining experience.

Haven't been here in such a long time but on using the facilities it was well worth the time spent here so amazing will do it again

It's fine. Bulk-cooked food served in a restaurant setting with friendly and attentive staff. There's no drinks in buffet other than water, tea and coffee. The view from the 17th floor is nice but unremarkable. I didn't leave feeling like the price was worth it. The flavours and textures tasted more like hired catering than a resident kitchen.

Was a loooong wait before that started letting us go up to get food. But in saying that once it started flowing the food was superb.

Was there for dinner last night (20/2/21) 6pm, I expected more for a buffet was disappointed as the room was small for food. I love my seafood but the Prawns omg defrosted & dry so yuck.for $52 I would've expected more of everything so thumbs down from me sorry

I only 1 Pinot noir which was a house wine
No champagne by glass
gin tonic no lemons
But over all good value

Came here for the buffet NYE special, had never been before but was amazed at how good everything was, staff were friendly food was amazing and the views were great

The staff were lovely. The meat was beautiful but vegetables and desert were underwhelming. We couldn't get an expresso coffee.

The buffet lunch and dinner are my partner and It's go to treat/special date place. Really yum buffet and pretty good value when you think about it. Dinner is definitely better than lunch. I would like to see better desserts, some of them aren't that great and too niche (like matcha cheesecake) and I would totally pay extra for hot fudge sauce with the ice cream! Otherwise, really great special dinner spot.

It was alert level 2 so modified buffet but still doesn't excuse the average and minimal food and dismal service. Sadly not even reasonably priced. Adding insult to injury was the exorbitant hotel parking charge. Avoid.
