26 Masterful fast-food dining menu true to it's name reference, must be 8 years since they bought and renovated the site.
Staff always friendly, food always professional.
Also my top ten deep fried results ever, keep up the great work, team!
Ngā mihi me te aroha nui
The paua fritters are quite awesome. But my favorite is there fried chicken wings crispy and always moist better than kfc by miles.
For a $5 peice of fish I was pretty gutted, tasted like your common frozen fish and the size was criminal, solid portion of chips but also tasted strongly of oil. Solid service tho was fast and dude was nice
Ordered a burger combo. A chicken works burger. Got a standard chicken burger minus bacon cheese etc. By time I realized had driven to far away to go back. Very disappointing.
My local. Good burgers and usual chip shop fare. Haven't tried the rice or noodles yet but they look pretty good.
Great service but I didn't like what I ordered. The onion rings are weird and the same with the sweet an sour sauce. May be just my personal preference though
Wasn't expecting much from my chicken roti wrap but was pleasantly surprised! Tasted fresh and delicious and just a short wait! Would definitely go back!
Fake! They advertise other countries dishes but they don't know how to make. Everything is basic Chinese takeaway taste! Why advertise if you don't know how to make.
My first time there. They're in Northland's. Had the combination fried rice & it was awesome. Pity I'm not living close by, I'd be a regular for sure
They have a blackboard on the counter that has the variety of fish available for fillets. Whenever I ask for one of them, they say they don't have any.
What's the point of the blackboard?
On evening of 21 April 2021 bought 2 of the seafood snacks for $8.90 each based on the photo on the menu wall inside. Outside the shop we found that not all items in the photo were in the boxes. Went straight back in and pointed this out to the woman serving who said what was given to us was correct. Told her that the photo they had was misleading. Said the same thing to an older man who came out to the counter. He said it had been this way for the last 3 years and no-one had complained. We said it was false advertising. He said that he told people and we explained that we hadn't been told. He replied he was telling us now and offered us to take the meals or have our money back. We chose to take our money and said we would not be back.
Good mix of asian cuisine and fish and chips. Prices arent too bad either. Owner/staff always welcoming.
One of the best fish and chip shops around. Beautiful chips, varied meals including Chinese. Great value for money.
Very yummy fish and chips I do recommend this my first time I went to eat there I was thinking is this going to be good or bad but when I got my fish and chips they gave me a free potato fritter I was very happy it was a very good fish and chip shop
Just ordered a black bean w/ chicken and chicken satay. When I got the food, upon looking at it, it looked watery and as predicted.yeah it was! The sauce was so watery and the only thing I ate was three spoonfuls of rice. Wasted my money! Wish I could give 0 stars. This place doesn't have love for it's food. Dissatisfied and disappointed. Should be ashamed! Don't come here at all!
Love from,
An honest person who knows what good food should taste like.
Kevin's great. I order from here often and always get a great service and tasty food for an affordable price.
Combination chowmien. Tasty and not too with very generous portion as well. I love this local chinese take away shop.
Possibly the worst sweet and sour fish I've ever had. Sauce from a bottle, fish bits and rice sold separately. Not a scrap of pride from the chef and NOTHING like the photo on the wall. Should be reported to the Commerce commission.
We’ve given this place several chances and have tried many things from the menu. The food just isn’t that good.
My kids are sensitive to most takeaway food places. My children do not react to the batter or chips. Great local. Great standard. Lovely people.
