Karl was great and very professional. Extremely impressed with covid safety. He tuned and replaced spark plugs and coil. Would recommend and use again.

I purchased my 1948 Ford F1 Truck in 2013 and from the start he, has been jumping out of top gear on de-acceleration. Numerous people have attempted to fix it, and finally I was told it was an "inherent fault" with the 1948 model. It has been particularly dangerous on the motorway when slowing down in traffic and suddenly the gearstick starts flailing around. Driving with one hand, holding it in place is not an option in high winds, or slowing, turning and trying to indicate, all with one hand or the passenger encouraging the gearstick to stay engaged.

Karl was recommended and he immediately said he was able to fix the gearbox, in fact he implied it wasn't a problem and he knew exactly where the fault was located. I was expecting him to have the truck for ever, however, he phoned to explain the diagnosis, then received the parts and it was only a total of a week in the workshop. (this is in restricted Covid times)

I picked up the truck on Wednesday, and it is now an absolute pleasure to drive. Thoroughly tested on the motorway - no problem whatsoever.

Found this place during Auckland Lockdown. I was trying to get my transmission fixed, and am happy with what I did. Karl who is a manager knows what he says and does and is also open to deal with. He puts options upfront that could work for me and was incredibly helpful. He followed all contactless procedures and offered me a reasonable price. Was happy with their service: kiwi looks after kiwi.

I experienced a driveshaft related vibration for 14 months and used and paid for the services of multiple repairers including Beattys Driveline (6 visits to East Tamaki from the Northshore. Mercedes Benz (Northshore 3 visits), all of these repairers failed to identify the problem. ***1 visit to Karl who was an absolute pleasure to deal with and extremely knowledgeable. If I could give 6 stars I would, took my Landcruiser for a trans rebuild and Karl's team did a fantastic job. I have owned this vehicle for years and do a lot of towing, Karl's advise on building a different type of converter was spot on. The vehicle has never ran so well and tows my trailer way better. Highly recommend them for a great job.

Had the guys repair the gear selector inside the gearbox, done the job quick and it feels like im driving a new truck. Awesome work

I am a female and I am not that familiar with car repairs or for that matter how a car works. My transmission failed in my Audi and Karl and his guys came to my rescue. They did a great job on my car and the price was very good. When I went to pick the car up the nice lady in the office was so pleasant to deal with and very helpful.
