I would like to thank Auto Conncetion for a beautiful service they did on my car, they picked up my BMW got it sorted and dropped it back on time for me to get home, this is the best experience I have had with a work shop, will recommend to all my family and friends.

When all others in Penrose were to busy being busy these guys, were able to fit a wof in immediately. Well done. Top service very accommodating.

Never go to them. Total scam i came for car service, and he changed my break pads to old ones.and now it makes noises and almost dead, now he tells me that i need to get new one.he did not put the wheel cap back on properly and it fell off somewhere on the road, now he doesn't acknowledge and tells me to go to consumer court.i am going to complaint about them i see most of the reviews are worse and you all should complain about them how they are scamming people and stealing there money.

Got a Free Labour Savings Card, so I went in today for a Free Tyre Rotation and Balance.
The reviews about them ripping customers are true.
Technically they didn't do anything wrong because they did do the Rotation and Balance as I came in for.
The issue is that my tyres happened to be unwarrantable and my WOF had run out. I had not known as this is my other car, not my daily. I even overheard one of the employees telling the guy doing it that the "tyres are all bad, there is no benefits of doing a balance and the customer needs to know".
Regardless, a rotation was done and balanced and I was charged $23 for balance parts and told that I needed to change all four tyres because two are bald and two had cracks.

So I have lost - the tyre rotation
- tyre balance
-$23 for balance parts
-time off work

Do not buy Free Labour Cards and do not go there if you have zero automotive knowledge. These guys do not have customer's best interests and are very unethical in their business methods.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DON'T COME HERE!
Bought a voucher for here for $99 for free service minus parts. And was charged an extra $180 for essentially an oil change. Such a rip off, very dodgy people. Was also misinformed regarding what was necessary to use the voucher.

Total Rip off, want to charge me $120 just for engine oil alone and labor on top of that for a small car.

Appalling experience. Purchased a Groupon voucher and was charged $60 extra because I had a Korean vehicle with a V6 engine. They had warned me verbally over the phone about the Korean surcharge although this was not mentioned on the voucher. However the V6 was not mentioned but they charged me anyway. I was also there for four hours to receive a simple service, despite them saying it wouldn’t take long at all.

This business is a scam. I rang up to book a $49 Service and WOF GrabOne deal, double-checking the terms and conditions over the phone. When I got there, they tried to charge me an extra $40 for a European car, $110+gst for a small pot of oil, and verbally disclaimed their t's and c's. There is a reason they are cheap - they make it up in the final bill in the end. Wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

I bought a grabone voucher for WOF & Car service thinking I could save some money here. But ended up paying more than 800$. They listed numerous damages/ things to be replaced for my car which I had no problems with before. They even told me putting a synthetic oil will be an additional 30$. Felt completely rip off by them. Dodgy people. Won’t recommend and never will come back.

I used a grab one deal here. What a balls up. They did NOT do the repair I asked for. Also the repair they did lasted 15 minutes then broke. They refused to repair again unless I paid. They wouldn't give me the old part back. I took them to the Small Claims Court and won back MORE money than I asked for because they lied and I had evidence of proof. Dodgy as hell bastartds.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Do not go to this place. There so many hidden costs and the prices are ridiculous. I went for car service and they said my car needs critical repair for another $900. I did service and WOF just 5 month before that and did not even use the car for 4 months.now I am reading others feedback and see that they had the same experience with this place.

DON'T COME TO THIS PLACE
Have been to this place 3 times, each time with so many additional cost, all because it is near my work. This time went there for a service got a quotation of $400plus + GST (service+engine flush, replace breakpads, machining), so I asked that guy to stop doing anything cause I want to go to another place to compare, the guy told me to pay $60 for the checking (End up paying $45).

Update on 13 Feb 2018
So I had another service at Car lab today.
They said my breakpads is fine and dont need to do any machining. Their serving is $191+GST with no additional cost. I attached the evidence.

So DONT GO TO AUTO CONNECTION, THEY ARE JUST NOT HONEST PEOPLE!

Booked in car for a service.

1. Had no records of my booking, laughed at me and told me I was in the wrong place.
2. Had prepurchaed a voucher and he said he couldn’t start service without it even though I told him if they dropped me to work as promised I would provide.
3. Both male staff laughed and humiliated me and I ended up having to leave in tears and without a service.

The worst automotive company ever. They dont do their job properly. Every work they claimed to have done was not in fact done at all. I had to take my car to elsewhere for further repair! If you are in search for WOF or any other car repair service, this place is not worth for every single penny you spend on them.

AVOID THIS PLACE. Charged partner $440 to change 4 brake pads. Wouldn't give a receipt showing breakdown of parts and labor, only total cost. Quoted 1 hour for work, had to wait 4. Brakes squealed after being done but they refused to take responsibility. Went elsewhere and was shown that they had fitted a mix of ceramic and normal brake pads and they hadn't been seated correctly or glued. Got another 4 pads fitted at real garage for $220. Problem fixed.

The worst garage I've ever been to. Unpleasant customer service and jobs are unprofessionally done. Not recommended at all.

Ranga is very helpful and efficient. I couldn’t catch a name of the guy who fixed my car’s issue but he was great!

Bought the service card which is valid till next year, did one WOF months ago and they doesn't accept the card when I call them again.

Have seen the bad reviews for this place but decided to give it a chance and I had a great experience with them. Replaced my break pads within the hour and gave me an update on what they did etc. They have definitely changed the way they operate if the bad reviews are anything to go by. Will definitely come back here for more work when required:) thanks guys!
