I want to take a minute to thank Maryam Arabzadeh who carried out our inspection today. She was very friendly and professional. She greeted me with a warm smile and removed her shoes despite me saying it wasn't necessary. She politely asked if there was anyone upstairs (yes, my son) & reassured me that she'd knock before disturbing. She then proceeded to carry out her inspection, first upstairs & then downstairs. We had a friendly discussion about each other's work, she then finished her inspection and before leaving she made sure to ask if there was anything I needed to make her aware of (leaking pipes etc). I pointed out a couple of things but overall it was a very pleasant experience. I also forgot to mention that she was very accommodating in that she re-scheduled her inspection today which was originally booked for last week.
THANK YOU so much Maryam for your professional & friendly manner. It certainly makes me think B&T are one of the best Real Estate Agencies to deal with.you really do both your company & yourself proud!

Very professional and responsive agency. My tenancy was handled by Mr. Srikanth and the entire process was a well organized one, right from the house viewing to the handing over of the keys. I had requested for worn out curtains to be replaced with new ones and carpets to be professionally cleaned and both requests were completed before I moved in. Completely satisfied!

I was so pleased to have Srikhanth Nallagoni as our property manager. He was very professional, hard working, and terrific to deal with. He is an excellent agent, who is very dedicated and easy to communicate with. He always replies my text or phone call instantly. He's been very proactive to reach out to showcase his talent of customer care. When asked questions, always came back with informative answers, going extra miles to clarify the things and kept us well informed and updated with grace and a genuine smile. He's also being understanding and empathetic, making great effort to fix the things that needed fixing. We have been waiting to get a few things fixed since a long time and was brought to the notice of the previous agent but wasn't helpful and as soon as Srikanth came I told them about the issues we had within a week he got them fixed. My husband and I love the place we are living it. Its not a place it is our home. This is dream house for us. Hopefully one day we could own this property. Deepa has been great helping us with any queries we have with her quick response.

Horrible experience I must say, had my rental with them for 1 year and I will never do it again.few issues to start with, a friend of mine wanted to rent the property so I gave him the link to apply and arrange to view the property but he hear nothing and had to follow up with the agent who isn't easy to get hold of.when I checked the trade-me advertisement, it was copied from another property and full of mistake and not reflecting the property condition, emailed the agent and he corrected this.

Few weeks later the property was rented and during this it was horrible still, no clear communication about any thing, after 6 month I was doing a repair job and tenants showed me messages from her to the agent and he never replies, she wanted to extend the contract but he never came back or replied.without asking me he approved the tenants to hang stuff and nails on the wall.very poor communication and professional practice, I would never recommend them or go give them any of properties back.

It has been great renting out a property under B&T. Deepa, my property manager has been really patient in making it feel like a home. She has been polite and active to deal with the little issues to help maintain the property! Thank you

I would just like to add praise to the Blockhouse Bay branch for their professionalism on managing my property in Lynfield. Sophia has looked after my rental property as if it were her own. I give her 5 star for attention to detail, being on the ball when tenants miss a rent payment and always communicating with me whenever any maintenance needs to doing big or small. Our previous property manager Sarah was a lovely person and we never had a single issue with her. She was so lovely and friendly, also if something needed to be done she would say it in a friendly manner and we would get it done. Our owner of the house which we rented 2/748 Richardson road was also really good and that is the reason we lived there for 2 years. We have had such a disgusting service from the new property manager Sofia. She came in to do an inspection for the first time and the way she was talking with attitude was not correct. She said I needed to clean a few things not major and I said I will get it done, but she still sent us a written notice, which was pathetic. Since that time we started looking for a new place, found it and I would like to mention that the only reason why we moved out of that property after the 2 years is Sofia's behavior. Additionally, when moving out of that house she did a final inspection and charged us a massive amount for professional cleaning even after we gave her clean house from our cleaners. She said needs cleaning again as the carpet has food stains etc, even after telling her that we had the stain before we came in to move so we shouldn't actually be charged for it. Another $65 charge she mentioned for 1 bulb and shower curtain, when I called to check why is this price so high for a bulb and shower curtain, she started blaming and accusing us of how she helping with picking up rubbish, etc and how good she was in dealing with us but never explained me the charges. I then called in the office spoke to her manager, who was polite and sensible enough to explain to me that the charge was for the person who went to buy the stuff as it cost them his time etc which can be understood. I would just like to say that if you have such property managers, your rental people will leave houses very quickly and it is a waste of your money and time to give to a person who doesn't really care about customer service. She is unapologetic about her behavior, doesn't give valid reasons and keeps talking in the bush. I work in a customer service field and it is quite underrated these days. Employees like these need to understand the value of people renting property as well. We will never associate with the company as this was enough of an experience for us. Even thinking about buying our first home would not go through Barfoot and Thompson.
