Barfoot & Thompson Manurewa

I called BT Manurewa to offer a listing of two properties that I have in the local area. I was referred to a sale agent from the office reception. He agreed to call me back the same day to offer some advise on the market values of the properties, I did not hear back from him, I tried to follow up with him two days later by sending him a text message, and received no reply. Utterly unprofessional! So I decided to market them privately and I sold both properties two days after they were adverted. I really learned something from this, you don't always need a real estate agent to sell your properties.

When we recently decided to put our house in Wattle Downs on the market, only one name came to mind - Sue Matete and Owen Roberts). Not only because they are local and know the area like the back of their hand but also because they came across as someone very personable and professional. We happily discovered that Sue and Owen are a great tag team who from the start gave us utmost confidence in their knowledge and integrity. We were very impressed with their hard and smart work which fetched a great price for our property.

Throughout the process, both Sue and Owen kept us informed, provided excellent advice and a level of professional service that far exceeded our expectations. Deciding to go with them was the best decision we made and we recommend them very highly.

I had previously rented a flat from Barfoot & Thomson Manurewa. At first I was having issue dealing with the then property manager Irfan Ali. Everything changed when this professional wonderful lady named Moneeta Prasad became our property manager. She was so friendly, professional and was always going out of her way to solve any issue with the rental property. Her response to calls and emails was very prompt. Moneeta is the reason I would rate your service as 5 star and I would like to commend her for such a wonderful service. Moneeta is really a gem for any business.

Sadly my experience dealing with agents like this one would not be recommended.
Contacted Babu George through homes.co.nz and Badu made an appointment to come see me on Monday Morning 10: 00 am.

After rescheduling appointments to make time for him sadly was let down from this agent as well.
10: 15 he called to find out if 10: 00 am was still ok lol well I politely told him he was just like every other agent over promise under deliver and a waist of time, his excuse was mis communication but sadly he sent me the text as conformation.

Selling privately would be the best way and less hassle and you in full control of everything and no high fees.

Very good service. Staff Jasbir was awesome. Walk along with us through out our property purchase. Highly recommend her for anyone.

I am very disappointed at their services. Me and my husband has been given the worst service ever by one of their agent. Irfan Ali. Every time we seek further explanations regarding our rent and payments he will always threaten us with "going to Tribunal" They were our first rental prop agents and I find them not helpful at all. We skipped work and attended to their office to seek answers on why our bond monies was delayed (4 weeks). Sadly this guy was siting across the room yelling out to the reception this and that but did not want to talk to us Face to Face. Even the other lady manager that just gave us an order to pay the water bill, but did not dare to look at my receipt I was holding as proof of all bills paid together to their account. It was the worst day for me and my husband sitting for a long time at reception not one of them to come except for one great lady helper came along out of the blue and sort out our bond in just one minute. We will never deal with these guys again in the future.

Great branch, efficient, friendly "know my name" helpful staff. 3+ years of business relations with these guys.

Terrible and very rude head renter staff. People please avoid it if you can imagrants that should never be allowed to be bosses.

We have been looking for a while now for homes and nothing compared to Barfoot & Thompson (Manurewa Great South Road) with their service that they have helped my family with. Huge thanks to Irfan and Meredith for their helping hands and thoughts esp their support towards our new home. God bless you both towards your hard work and never ending support towards families.

The letting agent is a very helpful and professional agent who has a great understanding of the rental market. He listened and understood our needs when renting our property.

As we were from Australia, we relied heavily on his advice.

We would be happy to use Barfoot & Thompson again.

Horrible customer service from various staff including Irfan Ali. When you complain people don’t take you seriously. Contradicting information given from different staff. Threatening emails and intimidating letters just the beginning of the ice berg.

There was one worker that was not doing there job in the professional manner barfoot handled this well one thing was not happy with was i can't put my partners name on the tenancy agreement that was a shame if this was sorted the stars will be greater
