Brew on Quay reviews
63It has some good craft beers but it's on the pricey side. Given its in the tourist area of Auckland, I kinda get it. The food is ok but again on the pricey side. If your looking for burger and fries walk dien 5 minutes to the viaduct, there is a great burger bar that serves up heft portions for a reasonable price.
Very good beer selection. Terrible food and service; so bad they don't more than 1 star despite the decent beer choices.
I used to come here often several years and it had gone downhill a lot, I'm guessing a change in management?
Excellent beer selection. Top notch. Friendly staff and beautifully old building. Highly recommend. Can’t vouch for the food as I only tried the frothy beverages.
Excellent selection of drinks. Something for literally everyone. Nice chill vibe to the place as well.
Great music, only slightly more expensive than the average bar. Upstairs area is good for small functions, it's a good place!
Ambience plus, talk about cornering the market! Happy helpful bar staff, extensive beer and wine options, great menu and we had dinner: I enjoyed a wonderful chicken curry, DJC had the bangers and mash: a great evening.we'll be back!
Found this place on the map from the hotel lobby, came down because it looked interesting. Would highly recommend, good food, fantastic choice of beer and staff that understand it. The staff were brilliant very friendly and Welcoming. Would recommend on a visit too Auckland.
A pub in an old police station! What a novel idea. My sister (who I was treating to lunch) reckoned that we were sitting in individual offices but they were small enough that they could be cells. Nice staff, lovely Irish girl. Comfortable high wooden stools (sturdy) and proper pub tables. The steak lunch deal was well worthwhile, and again, perfectly cooked steaks makes a simple meal into something special. Auckland waterfront has changed so much! I didn't even realise whereabouts I was. Immaculate loos.
Great selection of beers. Does get busy prior to an event at Spark Arena. Generally good music, with live bands.
Great place to catch up with friends, we enjoyed! Lots of choices of good beers. Good food, reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff too. Cheers to the Lady staff who serve us last Friday. We are a group with a small kid at outdoor seating. (the group asked you a paper) my 5 year old had a great time dancing too. Great selection of music and live band. Definitely comeback again. Cheers
Close to Britomart and the Viaduct.
Great service and way better than pub grub. It's very good.
Good pub with great front staff. Crispy chicken burger great, fish and chips not so good. Very welcoming and relaxed.
Great place, my sons engagement party was here.
We were upstairs, I did find downstairs very busy. That was the only thing that put me off abit.
This place is quite nice.toilets and inside of the bar ok and friendly staff. They had a great band there and an outside area on the side of the street. Love the different brews and certainly attracts all different types of people. I would go there again for afew or hopefully more
Fantastic pub, not so many people there for some strange reason. T
Really tasty fisch and chips and lot's and lot's of good wikibeer
Located in the heart of Auckland Brew on Quay is the perfect place to grab a beer while exploring central Auckland. A vast range of craft beer both on tap and in the fridge means there will always be something great to drink. Also ideal to park up and have a few while waiting to catch the many means of public transport located nearby.
Bar was good, service was great, and the craft beer was great, would definitely recommend coming here again.
We had a quick drink here after a days sightseeing. The place had real character and a vast choice of craft beers. The batman was very helpful in advising us what drink to try after asking us what type of ale we preferred. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
Great place to unwind after a busy, sightseeing day. Beers to meet anyone's taste, friendly staff and nachos to die for. What else could you want. Must visit!
Great location, and a good conversion of a historic building (an old police station?) into a pub. It's kind of pricey, both for drinks and for food. There's a good range of drinks, though, and the food is good, with decent serving sizes. It's a good venue to start out the night from, but it gets fairly quiet by about 10pm.
