Brightshine Blinds

We were really pleased with the work that Brightshine has done. From the start of the free quote, to the choice of blinds, rails and timber Venetians, down to the installation by Raymond - everything was seamless! I highly recommend them! Had some roller blinds installed a few years back. The material on the edges has frayed and jammed them and they no longer work.
This is apparently a problem with my window. Not the blinds.
Obviously the installer didn't install it level.
This is something to consider when going with this company.
If the blinds aren't installed level they will blame the building they are attached to.
If you own, or can borrow a drill and a level from someone I'd reccomend installing the blinds yourself as you will do a better job and your blinds will last a very long time.

So in summary, very nice blinds, but poor installation, and no responsibility from the company for this poor installation, and because of this installation, after 3-4 years of use, frayed, and not working blinds.

I appreciate the company responding however anyone reading this will notice there is no responsibility taken by the company for the installation, It is simply the fault of your building if the blinds fray over time.
It doesn't mean you wont get a good product, plenty of people on here have, but just be aware when the installer is installing your blinds, they need to be installed level or they will fray, then you'll have to buy new ones.
Most windows are level, and if they aren't they will only be out by a small amount, it is worth getting it sorted early on before you end up with a problem like mine.

I've already called, I'm not paying you to fix incorrectly installed blinds.
Your installer should be checking to see if they are level and then making adjustments.

I've contacted the company several times to come out to do a quote. Never heard back from them. Poor service.

Edit: thanks for your reply. I have since then called the company again on 7th July and was told there is a new sales rep and that they would contact me. I still haven't been contacted.

Clive, Stephanie, and the team were great to work with from start to finish. They were friendly and professional, with regular communication and updates, and despite logistical issues due to Covid, they installed my shutters within the estimated timeframe. I'm delighted with my new shutters as they have instantly transformed the windows and rooms. I have no hesitation with recommending Brightshine Blinds and Shutters.

We installed 3 bedrooms with Shutters via Brightshine. The process was simple with a prompt attention to measure and quote and full inclusion on advice on how the shutters can be hung. After manufacturing time we were advised of delivery schedule and Clive the installer sat in a road block for 3 hours determined to stick to schedule when he could of deferred to another day.great Job and Great Service. Our shutters are so beautiful. They have transformed our home. Everytime I enter my bedroom it reminds me of a tropical island bure in a travel magazine. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, they glide open and shut beautifully and have made a difference deflecting the hot afternoon sun, given us much needed privacy as well. Those who have come to visit have asked about the shutters and where to get them from. The installers were friendly, quick and I appreciated the knowledge and thoroughness during the quote process.

Really impressed with the quality and service of our shutters.
Our windows were odd shapes and these beautifully crafted wooden shutters fit and work perfectly. Although by no means cheap, the price was also better than the competitions, and very good value considering the quality of the product and the service. Thanks Brightshine.
