Bunnings Warehouse Pukekohe reviews
36 PSA FOR FELLOW SHOPPERS DURING LEVEL 3 LOCKDOWN:
Bunnings Pukekohe is NOT part of their website click and collect system due to their small size and range. You can still try and shop with them but you have to EMAIL them your order and then they will get back to you when they have picked your order to take payment and book collection time.
If you don't have a trade account with them you have to pay over the phone with a credit card/debit card since you can't physically enter their shop to use the eftpos machines.
As it was explained to me when I called them, they prioritise email orders since that is their lockdown equivalent of you queueing up to pay at the counter. Plus it's easier for them to pick your order when they have your shopping list written down in the email and they need time to pick your order and arrange collection time.
Calling them on the spot and then prattling out your shopping list over the phone while waiting at the gates just won't work since that's basically you trying to jump the queue and the workers are busy trying to pick orders of the folks who already emailed them their orders ahead of time. This all seems fair enough to me since they are a small shop and level 3 is an extraneous circumstance.
Let's all try to be kind and patient kiwis and remember that retail workers are doing the best they can under the current situation.

I have emailed the Pukekohe branch for materials. No reply at all.
Mitre 10 replied and I received my order already.
Store has great service just doesn't have a good variety of stuff. I know it's not as big as most Bunnings and the way Pukekohe is expanding maybe they should consider expanding.
Hate to say it time for a up size this bunning store so it matches everything that they advertise on there website.
Unhelpful staff not interested in serving the customer went down the road to mitre 10 to get some service I don't know why they open their doors
Not a big barn Bunnings. So some items are not carried. Great service and we got what we needed.
The staff are very helpful and apologized they did not have the stock i was looking for as the Pukekohe shop was too small
Anything you look from the website. Not in the store!
you would be lucky if you get something from this place.
No idea why they still keep advertising.very limited range
Nice and small. Just the thing for last minute jobs around the house. Friendly and helpful staff.
Pretty shocking customer service over the phone. We know it's a small store but you'll keep yourselves small if you don't know how to speak to people properly. A number of times I've gone to the Bunnings in Pukekohe, staff act as if they have much better things to do, apparently "very busy" then they go and stand behind the counter on their phone. Quite sad, seeing as other Bunnings stores are very helpful.
No stock and have never never honoured warranties even when products registered per manufacturer's instructions may as well close the place couldn't even deliver a special order that was pre paid.
Every time I go here I am dissapointed. It is a very small store but I go because I am brand loyal and often need to head up to Takanini. Whether it is the small selection of screws, lack of service or poor wood yard attendance. This place needs an upgrade. It is still better than mitre 10 though.
Small store, has most things, friendly staff. Thanks Bunnings Pukekohe people, you are AWESOME!:)
This store is badly in need of an upgrade, hasn't changed in years. The town needs some competition to Mite 10
Really bad experience. The guys at the place were not helpful at all and instead of helping they were just being mean and rude. Never going to give them my business again.
Short of staff today apparently I was loading 20 bags of compost myself I'm 65 that's fine, a young fellow came out helped towards the end,
The guy working there gave my 2 year old a little NZ flag my son was so happy. Really good service.
Very reluctant yard staff. I really had to insist that they cut my wood purchase so that it would fit in my car. They told me they were too busy as there were only the 2 of them on duty. I was the only customer! They eventually did cut it for me. Lady on the pay desk was a delight. Very helpful.
This is a smaller Bunnings store but you won't get help at any other hardware store like you get at this Pukekohe store. Their professionalism is outstanding, their knowledge is overwhelming and their service is impeccable.
Nice staff, awesome customer service, very friendly and respectful people, I felt so care when I went to buy timber and roofing with my 1 year old daughter, even she got a NZ flag as a gift. So nice people I will come back definitely ️
