Bunnings Warehouse Pukekohe reviews
36Helpful staff, always try to go here first for hardware but sometimes have limited stock due to size.
Such a small place but packed with heaps of DIY stuff. Great team to work with. Found what I needed, better options. Got my DIY done that day.
It's a good store with friendly and helpful staff, but it's not very big and only has half of what the big stores stock
Rex in the timber department is very knowledgeable and helpful, shame it's not a full size Bunnings Warehouse.
This store is just a little store but wow is packed to the rafters! Staff clearly enjoy working there as they are polite and helpful which makes it much more pleasant to visit. It's nice to see staff care about helping customers. Every time I go there I'm just so impressed with how much they have jammed in there. Call first if you are in a hurry for something as obviously they can't fit as much as a normal store.
People who work at the timber yard are really bad customer service. I requested to cut out some timber they refused saying that there is a labour cost to it. I requested because last time one guy did it for me. But this time there was a different guy in presence. He is bad.
Had such an amazing experience here! The team were so helpful with a girl who had no idea what she needed for a diy project. Big ups Bunnings Pukekohe!
Very disorganised especially on the weekends. Dont know their stock what the actually have when they say they dont and seems ordering system doesnt work
Great team to pop up and ask if you need help. So polite it was refreshing.
Just took a star off because I got passed around on the phone from person to person, put on hold and after 5 minutes, hung up on. Not professional at all. You lost a sale.
Absolutely the worst service and incorrect information left with a dangerous product and they acknowledged that but I would have to pay for the parts
Your website said you can exchange without a receipt if product is faulty
Was told nothing they could do they would have to go back on all there eftpos records to prove it was a bunnings item
Well it's there brand
Took it to another shop fault was picked up straight away and that it was extremely dangerous not to use item
So now we are out of pocket left with a dangerous item
Won't be shopping with bunnings again
First let me say the bad points about this store: It is way too small for the area it is supposed to serve. Lots of people come from farther afield than Pukekohe and it is always frustrating when I make a trip only to be told that what I'm after is only sold in the bigger stores. They offer an order-in service but that is hamstrung by the fact they only have ONE TRUCK and driver that has to juggle delivering stuff to job sites and making the trip to bigger stores to get my order. Can they not afford a second truck or something? Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket! Not to mention on weekends there is practically no workers in the store, the few that are there seem to be run haggard trying to serve everybody.
Now on to the positives: The staff there are great, mostly. The young fellows working the front counter practically bend over backwards trying to help you out. Even during those ridiculous weekends I mentioned earlier. Sure you occasionally get an off day when you get a bad egg for service but overall the people there are polite, professional and helpful.
Now here's the important part in relation to the above: I've seen on occasions when other customers gets verbally abusive to the staff because they don't have what they want in stock or their order is taking too long. People, swearing at the person at the front counter who is only doing his or her job for something out of their control is beyond classless. It's not their bloody fault they work in a tiny shop now is it? If you have to complain, give their corporate office a call instead and ask them why we still don't have a proper Bunnings Warehouse here in town!
Always helpful staff. If they don't stock the item they'll get it in for you from one of the big stores.
This bunnings warehouse is one of the worse i experiace so far, bad bad castomor service, i bought $2000 of fence pailing.the guy on counter check for a stock in computer than told me go get your truck and pickup your stuff, i hire a flat dack truck $180 for a day, come back to bunning to pickup my fence pailings, he told me we dont have all your stuff we got some here we are out of stock can yo pick it up other day, i would not recomend this Bunnings to any one, this is one of the worse bunnings in countrey.
Great place to stop and have a cheeky snag on the weekends, great for all your DIY needs aswell!
One of the worst servicing place you could get ordered a water blaster on 13th, they say it should arrive in two days, went there three days later, they say it should be in this afternoon. Went there again a day later, they don't have it in the stock. The stock showed in their system was incorrect. Them had none. No sorry, No apology, no respect attitude guess some of the managing staff has been there for too long
Have had multiple dealings with these guys over the last couple of months and they are a joke. No digitalisation of orders, things seem to go 'missing' because of this, no system to keep track of orders apart from them trying to find the tiny little piece of paper that the order was scribbled on, their supplier has no clue of their own stock, so tells the store they have something when they don't etc. Also refuse to get in items that are listed as special order on their website. Why have them listed as available to order when you won't get them in? The moment you mention you don't have a trade account with them when trying to order building supplies, they treat you like a second class citizen.
