This place is really amazing and pleasant. It has a very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful decoration, great music and wonderful food! It's always a good idea to book in advance, so you don't run the risk of not having a table, because the place is very busy! Rating 10 and I will definitely be back!

Used to really enjoy the tofu bao buns, they had loads of flavour and texture. Not anymore - very bland and tasteless. It's been a long time since I last ordered from Chinoiserie, so possibly a new chef now? Pork ribs were pretty good though.

We have loved this restaurant but this month the food was awful. Fries were soggy, tofu bao was tasteless. Really disappointed. Very poor food quality not up to the standard from the past. Will not eat here again

Katie F was kind, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make my ordering experience a joy. To top it off she noticed I went outside to my car while I was waiting, and came to bring me my food when it was done. The food here is incredible, and I'll definitely be coming back! 10/10

The absolute best experience here! I have a very severe allergy to onion, and Jason took so much care in accomodating me; writing down all the menu items that were safe for me and double/triple checking everything. The food was delicious and I felt so taken care of. Will definitely be back!

Went here for dinner this evening with a friend who has a severe food allergy. I messaged the team beforehand on their social media to check if they could accomodate to this and they were beyond helpful.
When we arrived and were waiting to order, Jason had cross referenced with the kitchen everything my friend was able to eat (plus ones that could just have garnishes removed to be safe to eat) and checked over each dish before handing it to us.
Extremely lovely staff, helpful and accomodating, and very delicious food. Would highly recommend for your next relaxed meal out!:)

We only grabbed some happy hour drinks but the places is really cool and the food looked incredible (people seemed to be enjoying it too). Highly recommended by our air BnB hosts too.

Top spot. And dog friendly! Had a good dinner with my partner she loves the ribs to bits.

Pilsner on tap and got the og noodles and eggplant and that was enough to satisfy my hunger.

Amazing food and even better staff. Dined at a very busy time so there were no tables left that would seat us, however staff were able to rearrange seating to make us a table instead so sending us away. Food was great and wait times were very short.

Love the atmosphere here. Food is awesome. I recommend to try their fries with their sauce and the bao. On street parking.

When people ask me from overseas I make them come. I enjoy the food, staff, atmosphere. It's a nice feeling walking in bring seated by a lovely member of the team. I've no bad words for this place.

Friendly service and food came out fast. Chicken and pork bao are great. Ribs were really tasty and fall of the bones. Deef fried tofu was great, unique flavour. Only let down for us was the slaw and hot wings, not for us. We didn't like the dressing for the slaw. Hot wings was kinda dry and we didn't get the sriracha kick.

Had a great vegan experience. The cauliflower and the loaded fries simply blew my breath away. My socks fell off. The tofu boa was pretty good, but if I were to go back, as an owairaka local (which I am) I would probably just get more of that damn fine sexy cauliflower. Reasonable prices. The staff were pleasant. The place was cool. The night was dark when we were there. It wasn't raining thankfully. Could've been a whole different kettle of fish had that been the case but a well rounded 5 stars to the first Asian fusion place ice been to in my life. Another night out looking for dinner. Wife had been here before. My first time. I had the pork belly bao. Wife had chicken bao. Also had fries popcorn chick prawn bites book choy. Food was really good and I'd go back here no problem. We ordered way to much food it was a push to get thru what we ordered. Was a very busy place nothing flash inside service was ok but if you like this type of food then this is a must try

Servings where adequate.delicious bao squid.hot chicken and squid rings.the only one disappointed us was the KFC cauliflower reasonable prices. Recommended. ****

Fantastic food. This restaurant is one of the very few places that calls itself Asian fusion and actually deserves that title.

I’ve been here so many times - it’s amazing how they hit the right notes (re flavour) in each morsel. EVERY TIME!
