Was ok bit pokey. Only good thing was being up on the 19th floor. I had to ring to get my room serviced I thought it was a normal thing to get ur room serviced daily. I was told it was because of low staff tho.

We were robbed computers credit cards etc
We got no support from the staff, we had to ring the police we were on the 22 floor so the robbers game from the internal area of the hotel
Our friend could not return to Australia because his passport was taken,
Sadly this hotel does no take responsibility for it guests if things go wrong
Very poor service it like visiting centrelink with a problem,
PS the police were wonderful

Booked and paid for a couples romantic package had to upgrade and get a bigger room as my partner couldn't make it due to work so it turned into a girls night away. They took away the package incentives which were already paid for such as free parking, bottle of wine and late checkout. This was not mentioned over the phone so had to pay extra for parking and the manager comped me the late checkout and gave me a $5 discount for parking. I was with friends so didn't feel like complaining even though I was not happy. Check-in took longer than needed seemed like the reception didn't know what to do when I mentioned the booking changes. The elevator wouldn't stop at the pool but we didn't really investigate further. I asked for an extra blanket and got a very thin throw. Had a headache and rang to see if there was panadol at the front desk but there was none was told to go the dairy across the road but it kind of defeats the purpose. Its a great location close to everything but doesnt give the hotel experience you'd expect from a 4star establishment.

Hired out a conjoined three bedroom. Beds were great and comfy. Clean facilities. Was a great night spent here

Arrived and the room smelt terrible. The rooms were outdated and shabby. The pool was also outdated and heavily chlorinated to the point you couldnt breathe well. I would not recommend nor return here. Considering recent events you would think hotels would try harder to please paying customers.

Walking distance to the Viaduct and Skytower. Clean and quiet rooms, good gym and pool area. Enjoyed the stay.

Pity they don't operate the restaurant.
They go out of there way to ensure your needs are catered for.

Amazing staff. Room was clean. Everything was perfect. Pool was amazing to swim in. Close to city center.

Made to queue 45mins to check (at 3pm) in only to then be told our room would not be ready until 7pm

We were not the only ones, there was no communication or anything offered for this major inconvenience. Just appalling service.

Normally if I have a one off bad experience I put it down to maybe me having a bad day. However when other people have the same experience then I will explain the experience. Being at Citylife from the 15/3/21 to 19/3/21. The management and staff from the 15/3/21 to the 17/3/21 we're fantastic and way beyond helpful. Deserving 5 stars. However the Indian manager on the day shift on the 18/3/21 and 19/3/21 was the most arrogant, unhelpful, vindictive person. He shouldn't be in the service industry. While he is there I will never go back.

It's a pretty good hotel that's in a very good place, you can walk anywhere you'd want from there in minutes, if you are going to waeheke and need somewhere to stay before you get on the ferry it's about a 3 minute walk to the wharf, don't trust me on that timing and blame me for being late though. The rooms are great, they have good beds too. The pool is also pretty good too. Overall it's about five stars

I had a good stay here. Room was comfortable, clean and modern. Wifi was included and worked well for office collaboration. Friendly front desk folks. Easy check in and check out. Great location.

I always like to write reviews for hotels I have been to for others to know what to expect, the staff greeted us nicely and very professional, helped with luggage. The entrance and bottom of the hotel was absolutely stunning. The room we had was quite small but was expecting that, very cold, there was tooth paste all over the back of the bathroom door which wasn't the nicest to have as it went all over my Hand lol, I feel like the room wasn't cleaned as well as I would've liked as there was someones loose pills right by my bed on the floor? The price I payed I would expected a bit nicer. Would have also been nice to know the pool was salt water not normal water.

Ok! Rooms clean and tidy. Nothing special. Room had a connecting door, which was locked. People in room through connecting door very noisy. No view room looked onto alleyway at back of building. No in house food had to go to a nearby caffee for breakfast, not very convenient.

Lovely place to stay, friendly staff, shame the room service wasn't available but understandable at the moment. We got the 3 bedroom apartment with our 4 kids, they loved it too. Would definitely go back!

Room was nice, clean, large enough and good facilities. The entrance and public areas were very nice. Staff on front counter were pleasant and stored our bags. Overall very happy.

Pros

Rooms are really clean and fresh, including the washroom.
The morning continental breakfast is delicious and appealing.
The gym and pool usage is complimentary.

Cons

They don't make it clear that whether certain services of theirs is complimentary or chargeable.

Service here is always fantastic. The room was spacey and had a kitchen. Everything you need when away from home

Good rooms especially when you get a free upgrade, great location close to sky city and especially the Mexican cafe.
