The team replaced an old solar panel for me, it took a little while for the panel to arrive into NZ which is understandable in the current Covid climate. They kept me informed along the way about ETA and as soon as they knew when it would arrive they locked in a date. They were fast and efficient with the swap-over and the new panel is working well. Would definitely recommend them over other companies that were three times the price or didn't turn up at all. Five stars!

The team i deal with at collins are great and help as soon as they can, turn up on time are thorough are professional are very knowledgeable in there areas. I can direct them to a hidden key and they are TRUSTED to come Nd go as they need to to get the job done I am so glad to have a team I can relie on and not have to chase up.

I have had poor experiences with other plumbing companies in West Auckland and have been putting off a few plumbing tasks due to those previous experiences. However, dealing with Collins has been a pleasure from beginning to end. From calling and speaking to pleasant and helpful office staff, getting called back promptly with an appointment option of that day or next - through to the plumber turning up on time, being helpful, friendly, professional and completing the job quickly and well. A very pleasant surprise.
I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend to anyone else in need of plumbing services.

We contacted Collins Plumbing and Gas recently to fix a gas leak that Vector had identified when replacing some metering equipment. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with, and the gas fitter they sent was incredibly helpful & knowledgeable, and was able to walk me through all possible solutions to fix the leak.

Collins installed gas hot water for us and were amazing to deal with. The guys were friendly, professional and kept us up to date on everything with council and Vector. We got a hot water system installed and have had the best showers ever since! Can't recommend them more highly.

I had a bad experience with this company. Thye started by being 4 hours late and really mucked me around. The owner is very hard to get in touch with. He did give me a discounted rate for making me wait for 4 hours at a property for him. I was charge $85 to be told there was nothing wrong with my gas top. The problem continued, we called back to get them to come back but the owner was once again on holiday and never called us back. We got another reliable company out who told us that our regulator was broken and replaced it, it finally works now. I spoke with the owner once he was back from holiday and he was rude and refused to take responsibility for the lack of skills from his employees. I total waste of time and money.

Have used the services of Collins on several occasions, from the urgent needs of a plumber to the renovation of our new kitchen. We had several delays when we were doing the renovation and the Team at Collins from the office staff to the Plumber were always so accommodating in working in with us, nothing was to much trouble. The end result was great and have recommended them to anyone needing any of their services.

We needed a plumber in a hurry to remove a toilet to enable a new floor to be laid in the bathroom. Collins responded within the hour and returned when the job was done and set up the toilet again. Communication was excellent and we are very happy with the service and friendly plumbers. They are highly recommended.

We needed a gas fitter so on the recommendation of a friend and a desire to support local business we called Collins Plumbing & Gas. The office staff were personable and helpful and together with the gas fitter were able to suggest options to heat our breezy 1960s weatherboard house. After settling on an option an experienced and capable gas fitter came out to do the install. The whole process was made easy by the fantastic office staff and the friendly gas fitter. We are more than happy with the result and our house is toasty warm. We will be using you again and recommending your service to all ouŕ friends and family.

A lovely company to deal with. The girls in the office were very friendly and the plumber who replaced my shower mixer, took the time to discuss the best options available to me. He completed the job quickly and cleaned up afterwards. Excellent service all round.
