Columbus Coffee

The recently refurbished Columbus Cafe is fantastic and such a great option for everyone. Something for everyone. Gluten free options are delicious.
Food is always fresh, hot, good portions and delicious.
Staff always friendly and welcoming.
Coffee spot on!
Kids love the Fluffy with chocolate fish.

Really enjoyed our cafe experience yesterday. Cabinet food has a fine selection and don't miss the macadamia biscuits in the jar! Coffee and hot choc delicious. Our table was sun drenched hence photo shadows. A periodic loud bang, possibly microwave door or side doors is rather un-nerving.

Lovely lunch for my birthday and I was wished happy birthday by the staff. Food, service and decaf coffee all excellent.

Worth a visit when at Mitre 10. Consistent and reliable.

Somewhat cold inside in the midst of winter, but would be nice in summer. So take a coat

The best Columbus franchise I have been too, they a now my regular, great food, service and atmosphere

Nice staff and good coffee and the desserts in the cabinet are tasty. It's right by the garden centre so the view is green and close to the kids playground. They let me take my drink and food to the playground so I could have that while my son played.

The cabinet food is uninteresting. An addition of club sandwiches or small sandwiches would improve it.

A lovely place to have some coffee and something to eat. The outside area is great, with plants all around you

I was advised at the counter, when attempting to place an order, that the kitchen was closed! Time- 2.44pm.
There were 5 staff behind the counter, and a fellow wandering around with a Cheffy type apron on. We will not return.there are to many other Cafes in the area happy to take an order.

Best corn fritters I've ever tasted! Hats off to the chef, definitely coming back for more of these

Coffee is one of the best in Auckland! The new Columbus cafe in Mitre 10 Lunn Ave is beautifully renovated

Such a beautiful and sunny place where you can sit, have a cup of coffee and enjoy it after shopping.

We had the brioche French toast and it was nice. The staff are very young and still learning but most were friendly and accommodating. Our drinks took quite a while and we didn't know there was a water fountain until we saw another customer using it. Perhaps if the staff let us know the wait would have felt shorter.all in all 4/5

The previous Columbus Café in Mitre 10 was great. At the new one, a counter person was abrupt, rude, and even snatched the loyalty card from my hand! Being spoken to as if I were a naughty three year old was so unpleasant that I left without eating the food that had been paid for. The coffee machine operator didn’t know how to do refunds (yeah right). Having patronised Columbus from its instigation, I will now no longer do so. (Had an apology been offered I would have accepted that).

Great coffee, lovely food and gorgeous newly revamped surroundings. Owner needs to consider becoming dog friendly and would bring more people. Otherwise nice stop while garden or DIY shopping

Just had the most amazing Butter Chicken pie at this store today.
The cafe has lots of space, clean, and the staff were great as well. Lindie was friendly, approachable and made the whole experience enjoyable.
A place I would happily return.
