How about you employ someone who can speak and understand English? The girl front of counter was so aggressive and couldn’t understand English. If she can’t speak English at least have a manner and try to listen without snapping at customer! Shame!

The pancakes I ordered were overcooked (tasted like bread) and not sweet at all. The whipped cream tasted like the one you buy from Pak'n'Save (probably actually was) and the service from the white european woman with the Czech Republic flag on her shirt was terrible? She seemed to be partially deaf. I could have literally cooked up a better meal at home considering how expensive the dish was and how small the portions were. Will def not return.

We chose this location again for its central location. On this occasion we may have pushed the limits on our expectations as all 28 people in our group gathered between 10.30am and midday. Overall the place was clean an tidy and the staff were pleasant. Will continue to return in smaller groups.

Have been visiting this particular Columbus Coffee cafe for several years. The reason being it can accommodate groups of friends (14 to 16 people) without any prior warning. The food and facilities have always been excellent and over time there is evidence of continual improvements to raise the customer satisfaction. This cafe has excellent outdoor facilties to relax and enjoy your coffee.

Ordered chicken waffles today, was a literal schnitzel chicken pretty much on 1 waffle, expected a bit more for the price I paid, also tasted and felt very much like a toaster waffle. Was very busy but it took 30 mins for my food to come out meanwhile my friends had finished their food already so I was lagging behind. Have been before and was much better service and food, won't be coming back now.

"Misplaced" our order. No apology. Service without a smile. Food was expensive. Wouldn't go back again.

We went to Columbus for lunch on Sunday and was met with a snippy and rude cashier. A lot of tables were not available because they were not clean. The cabinet quiche was not tasty and the pastry was gummy and flavourless. Quite disappointing as they usually are onto it.

Food and coffee is good. Staff could be friendlier. And PLEASE for the love of all things sacred, leave salt/pepper/raw sugar on each table so that everyone doesn't have to go and get up to get packets.

Friendly staff, good coffee, I had cappuccino and the hazelnut cronut. This outlet is spacious with seats inside and also outside if you prefer.

I love this cafe. I come here when I’m shopping at the mall and need breakfast. The service is great and friendly. And the food is absolutely satisfying. Keep up the good work Columbus. You guys are the best

Busy service average (only 1 female staff member who smiled) meal advertised on their sign was incorrect-blueberries not served, only strawberries. Coffee was good

The food itself was very good, however, the food i ordered and the food i received was completely different. I understand mix-ups happen but i was over charged and given something that i didn’t want.

Recently visited this coffee spot in Sylvia park and the coffee and food made our day.
The staff and service both were very good

Staff is friendly and coffee and carrot cake were good too. It being next the the playground makes it a great spot for playdates for kids.

Worst customer service. Racist and Rudest Staffs. The Staffs need a thorough knowledge of the place they are working. Staffs doesn't have any idea how to serve customers. From taking the orders to serving. Last Thursday I picked up my kids from school and thought to have a good time with them. Taking them first to Sylvia park Columbus Cafe. They spoilt our day. The muffins we ordered looked dry and outdated and one of it had hair. We kept asking about our orders and staff didn't seem to care. The only good thing was my daughter's fluffy. Never ever going back. Not recommended.

Horrible service…the person should know how much hot the coffee should be… i burnt my lips and dropped the coffee cup at slyvia park. (on 22nd May 4: 45pm.)

Large premises with an outdoor area in a quieter part of Sylvia Park shops. Coffee is ok and was prepared fast. Friendly service.
Seating area is a bit run down. Table was broken and was still wet from the rain earlier in the day. A reasonable menu for a reasonable price. Free water was not operating, and there was no offer to bring with meal.

Went here last weekend. Service was friendly enough, our table was dirty and I asked them twice if they could wipe it and they didn’t so I wiped it with a napkin. They said they were short staffed but there were three girls standing around chatting, not bothering to wipe tables down. Smoothie was pretty flavourless, ordered loaded fries and there was a small handful of cheese on top, a couple of pieces of bacon and chips were pretty cold and tough. Furnishings probably need to be updated, the chairs are super worn and dirty looking. Wouldn’t be coming here again

I like the Sylvia Park Columbus Coffee the people there are friendly and pleasant to deal with. A nice place to relax and enjoy a coffee ️

Good meals, deserts, bakery and drinks.
Outside seating available, a bit close to the busy road.
