Excellent personal service and best Columbus food. Worth going from North Shore to have a treat here. Good coffee.

Just got extra burnt milk, can’t even drink it without burning my tounge. Shouldn’t every barista know how not to burn the milk? I know they emphasized this a lot when I had my training… anyway, once and never again:)

Sit down children, let me tell you a tale. A tale of less than half the population. But, oddly enough, this group committed a considerable amount of crime.

Good coffee great service amazing friendly staff who are more than happy to help. The location is great and in the heart of ellerslie village area. Family friendly and open seven days a week. Go buy a great coffee support local businesses.

The food took a long time to come and was pricey, my burger was adequate but not great. The coffee was good though.

Pop into this place often for coffee and sometimes breaky. Great service from the friendly staff here. Food is always great, if a little pricey but always good coffee with a smile.

Just got a latte here, but it tasted like it was contaminated with soy milk.yuk. You got to have separate jugs for different milk.

Chicken filo and filled English muffin were delicious, but the broccoli salad was a let down with overcooked broccoli. Location is quite noisy with poor acoustics and traffic noise.
Unisex toilet was incorrectly installed so that seat wouldn't stay up, which caused it to be unclean. Hope they'll get that fixed.

I had decent expectations but whatever I ordered was dry and not appetizing. Only the almond croissant was decent. But the service was quick.

The food is very substandard and the coffee is quite often burnt. Tried these guys out a number of times because of their convenient location and eventually had to accept they weren't going to change.

Average food compared to other Columbus Cafe franchises we have visited. Lovely premises, staff friendly and it was good service. It was a shame that our food did not come with a salad as in other places.

We visited Columbus Cafe at Ellerslie about three weeks ago. Lovely atmosphere, good table service, food very disappointing and basic. When asked at the till how we found the lunch, we were honest and the manager seemed totally uninterested to the point of being rude. We asked to see the receipt before we paid and he refused saying we could see the receipt after we paid. Would not recommend going here as there are more enjoyable and hospitable options in Ellerslie.
