Staff are easy to deal with, quick and honest service, informative and happy to explain reasons why the problem need to be fixed. No up selling of their services or products.
Been my go to WOF business since they opened in Takanini.
Prices are very fair and they also offer a loyalty card system which I always use.

A really good testing station. Been going here for years. Are always consistent, reasonable and fair with their service.

Early in the morning is the time to go. No line, great service and good guys to take car to. Warrant done so fast I was like what it's done and the sticker too. I couldn't believe my eyeballs. I just stood there for a moment in shock. And they even offered a discount card $5 off next time.so ladies although I hate these places I firmly recommend this one for wofs. Then you can go get brekky. Yippee

Takanini customer service was great, and for the most part the staff are very informative and professional. The office however is not air conditioned and is very hot in the summer with all the tarmac around and with the doors open into the waiting area, it’s cooler to sit outside. In the winter the opposite applies. It’s freezing cold. Takanini branch needs to do motorcycle wofs so I can take my 2 Harley Davidson into them instead of vtnz

Took my classic car in for warrant with modifications I had a low volume Cert for all my modifications out of the 3 inspectors only one knew what he was reading and looking at the othe too were gona fail me if he hadn’t come out and told them to pass it.i only failed only on rust not a problem but the lack of knowledge I’m no longer taking any of my cars there been going there for 8 years now and the tech inspectors seem to be getting dummer

Drivesure failed my car's wof for the rear brake pads. I explained that I didn't understand how how they could fail as my car had been tested at vtnz, failed on a rust problem which had been fixed. Apart from my friend driving it from vtnz Pukekohe, I had only driven it to and from the panel beater and to Drivesure, all local. The Drivesure tester said the brake pads must have been borderline when vtnz tested it. I took my car to my usual mechanic who found the brake pads only 50% worn. He was disgusted. It's very poor and I will never go to Drivesure again.

Been here a few times. Never had an issue.until this visit

When we arrived we were the third car to be checked (no worries). We paid $61, and sat down in the waiting room to wait for the car to go through the WOF process. When the two previous cars were done and gone. I gathered that our car would be up next, as there was no other customers other than a car brought in from a garage as part of a service (that was behind our car).

While we were seated, (maybe 15mins or more) we were advised by a female at the reception, that the lads were going to have a lunch break. When I asked for how long (as lunch breaks can go from half an hour to an hour). The response I got back was that the guys hadn't had a break.

Perhaps Drivesure needs to put some procedures inplace so that it does not disrupt customers or workers entitlement to breaks. The receptionist should have made it clear before we made payment that there would be a short delay due to the lads having a break at a certain time. She should have asked if we wanted to proceed or come back.

In the end we got our WOF and were very happy with the service from the lads. A+

I have been going here regularly and dont keep the frequent user card since my wof is annual, but they always give me discount.

Great reception staff Left the car in line behind two others, popped to Pak n Save and headed back, car ready and waiting new WOF. Very happy with this service.

I goggled independent testing stations and found drivesure close to where I live in Pakuranga. First time user and I would recommend them based off my experience. Friendly, quick, hassle free service.

2019 Edit - Sorry but service was no good today. Failed my car. But they didn't tell me. They said it's good to go and put a pass sticker in my car. But when I checked the paper work. It said I had to go back for a re check. I was a bit confused so I had to ring and check, they weren't sure either so I had to go back to find out what happened. And I paid in cash and they did not give me any change that they owed.

Awesome service, Lovely people, its fast and easy. I visited them last week. 100% customer satisfaction.

Pretty surprised of their service at the Takanini branch. Reception lady was nice and friendly and the technician even attached my falling bumper for free. Thanks guys!

Friendly service. Reasonably quick and efficient. However they seem to have knocked my reversing camera out of alignment.which was working fine before I got there. So now I'll need to have that seen to.

Best place in South Auckland for W. O. F and a standard vehicle service while you wait, no appointment necessary.
