Delicious food amazing atmosphere and great staff wish I could go there more often. Best thing is the costillas (short ribs).

Was good food appart from waiters creepily staring at us wanting us to leave and v dry chicken and large party group taking too long to pay. Thank!

Different cuisine and nice surroundings at Takapuna. Seating at the back is nice and close to other tables from adjacent restaurants. Good is great and portions are generous. Next time wife and I are sharing one main. Yuca fries are my favorite side now. You can see you food prepared on the grill. Will go there again for sure.

Love this place, everyone I go with loves it too. Beef ribs are so good that its hard to want to order anything else but the steak and pork ribs are also delicious. The meal set type thing they have where you choose a sauce and a side to go with your protein (plus deliciously dressed salad) is great value for money. The tamarind sauce is fantastic and they have a great range of sides.

Amazing food! One of the best steaks I have had in Auckland. Make sure you try their Yuca Croquettes as well.

Lovely little hole in the wall in Takapuna. We tried their sharing plate and it had some great flavours. Good service and decent selection of drinks and menu items. Definitely a must try if you haven't experienced any South American BBQ before.

Foods excellent. Well priced. Staff good fun. Advise you arrive early or be prepared to wait. They don't take bookings.

Cozy little place, lovely meats, special thanks to Ander for the little carrot cake dessert for our Anniversary. He looked after us and was always wearing his cheerful smiles.

Food is OK. Ribs are very expensive for what you get, also not living up to expectations. Waited for about 45min for our order to Attie. Staff very helpful and friendly

Busy little place. Sat up at bar, warmed by BBQ and some decent craft beers, watching large chunks of meat being well cooked. Cost restaurant and recommended, but can get busy.

Very happy with our experience here. The atmosphere is vibrant and lively. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is authentic and delicious.

The service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the chorizo starter, and the Lomo Ancho and El Humero Pork as the mains. It may just have been a mistake but we found all 3 dishes over salted, which ruined the well-cooked meat.

Had a lovely meal here, food was delicious, service was great. Was probably too loud for my liking but each to their own!

Great service and food. Suggest you get in there early on a Saturday if you are planning to go in a group. It fills up early, ie 6pm onwards.

Attentive staff. Great atmosphere. Meat is very tender and juicy. Very keen to go back and try other dishes.
