Hi I recently (8 Feb 23) had a RMC Temperature Valve replaced on the water cylinder at my home in Clevedon. I was very happy with the service and the work of Mitch. However to charge $250.00 (plus GST) for the first hour is outrageous! - especially where vulnerable people have little option that to have a repair! IT WAS NOT AN EMERGENCY CALLOUT!

I was never advised of this exorbitant fee (I WAS advised of the price of the part!) and this sort of charging leaves a sour taste from a company who installed the cylinder in the first place and who were recommended by a close friend!

I will certainly advise those who use this company to check carefully what are the charges before engaging your services

I waited for a phone call back when he said he’d give the plumber a call. Said he’d call back within 2min. No response at all. If you want emergency plumbing service choose someone else.

Mike is a super hero, I felt so lucky and grateful he saved my house on Friday night professionally and efficiently. My house had a big flooding incident last Friday due to a pipe burst, after I called everyone I know and of course no one responded, I found Emergency Plumber online, I thought the quickest response I would have might be next day if we are lucky, surprisingly Mike managed to come shortly after the call and fix it straight away on a Friday Night, I feel incredibly lucky and grateful for his amazing work and attitude, as well as giving me good advice based on his rich experience, definitely recommend to friends and family, this company is a truely blessing, thank you very much and wish all the best. ️️️

Very quick response, turned up on time, job was more complex than initially thought, but worked through it found solutions, now have working kitchen, great thanks.

Prompt service - house was flooded in the weekend and I requested emergency plumbing service. The plumber turned up within the promised 30-45 mins. Source of flooding was identified quickly and water supply isolated. Appreciate the prompt response in a chaotic time.

Found cylinder leaking after being away for 2 weeks. Contacted plumber used previously but they couldn’t come for 10 days. Found Response Plumbing website, called at 7.30am and advised plumber would be with us by 9.30am.
Mitch arrived on time, diagnosed/ confirmed the problem, provided quote and started work. Had an issue obtaining replacement HWCylinder because of supply shortages but proceeded to re-plumb old plumbing ready for new HWC which was delivered on site the next day. Kept us fully updated throughout the job despite complexity around having to renew old fittings, copper pipes etc.
We were impressed by the courteous, professional service provided by Mitch and his colleagues. Cannot recommend them highly enough and will certainly have them at the top of our list for any future plumbing requirements.

Water mains had sprung a leak. Booked another company early in the morning but discovered at 4pm they had postponed job until the following afternoon. Contacted Response Plumbing and the leak was fixed by 5pm. Will definitely contact for future plumbing needs.

Michael was very helpful. The leaks were fixed right in that morning, include replaced the leaking stainless steel flexi pipe. Just in time avoid flooding the whole place.

He isn’t just friendly but is also professional. Quickly found the point where blocked and gave me good explanations and tips on how it happened and how to avoid a recurrence. He also organized the rest of the job with City Council, which is good.
