Why is it 2 times more expensive to dump here than at the north shore or west ak sites owned by you? Station wagon $56
Pataki rd is $35 and constellation rd $35 also
, trailers/vans/utes it's $85 at pikes point and $35 and $36 at the other sites

Please note the opening times shown here may not be the actual open hours. For the second time in a year it was closed with a man at gate apologizing for the ineptitude of the admin staff to communicate to the public online. I did ring before hand but they don't answer their phones. The service at Pykes Point, like their refuse, stinks.

200 kg waste charged me $85.50 because I driving a van. That staff told me this is min rate, $203 per tonne price used to over 400kg. So ridicules

Website states open however with fill load of green waste we find the station closed at 2 pm. A very apologetic guy on gate gave us and many others the bad news. Not good enough!

Very expensive - I had a suitcase and a sewing machine to leave there, I got charged $40. Just a full rip-off, I won't be coming back.

Costs nearly twice as much as Nth Shore Envirowaste transfer station. Won't be going there again.

Place was disorganized as there was only one person trying to control the traffic flow (safety issue) and only three vehicles dumping rubbish. If you had specified lanes you could have more vehicles using the facility instead of a backlog of vehicles waiting.

For a dump its bloody clean and the staff are great. I spend a lot of time at dumps around Auckland and its one of the best.

Quoted 61.00 pr 400 kg. So, 150.00 pr ton as at 02 July 2018. Charged solely on weight of the rubbish. Take some disinfectant spray for yr boots and put down a cover on yr floor, the bay area is slimy and rank smelling which you will carry into the vehicle. Given the high cost of our rates and the UAC charge we pay (Uniform Account fee) This is expensive. Why is Envirowaste getting all the contracts? They're prices are high. Can we go back to Council control or tender better!

Definitely one of the more expensive refuse centres. On the exit of the green waste section, they have placed a speed bump right on the edge of the exit ramp downhill. A standard height vehicle (normal car) will scrape its underbody descending the ramp on the speed bump, ridiculous placement. Would not recommend Pikes Point Transfer Station.

Very busy tip with wait times, The ground when you get out to unload at the general waste spot is a heath hazard. Its a stew of decomposing liquid that stinks and you will get it on your boots and into your vehicle which means you have to wash your boots and floor mats after. Much prefer East Tamaki tip as they wash the concrete often and you tip into a pit there not just in the ground like this tip.

Stupidly overpriced, it is far cheaper to drive further and drop off your rubbish at the Lincoln road tip.

Way too EXPENSIVE! They must have thought I had nuclear waste in the boot of my car. I think Henderson is high but, reasonable.

All the phone number for Pikes Point transfer gives you are the hours, any more info required you have to ring another number, Why can't you get it all on one call.

Another one of envirowastes ridiculously overpriced dumps. Waitakere refuse is a much better option - affordable as well as pleasant staff.
