Reported it to their head office and was told I must have misheard or got the wrong idea because (and I quote the manager here) "These guys are family men and would never do that". DISGUSTED. Just because they have a wife and children, means they wont harass women? Victim blaming at its finest. I MUST have made a mistake and they couldn't possibly be in the wrong. Ridiculous.

How about accepting responsibility for the behavior of your staff? How about telling them that their behavior is unacceptable?

Why on earth would I randomly make up an incident of harassment and spend two hours trying to call your office to report it? For kicks?

No. Maybe its because I felt uncomfortable trying to walk in my neighborhood thanks to how your guys treated me.

Worst service ever! Mucked around with the collection. Did not pick up a collection but sent invoice. Very bad communication. Do NOT use their service at all!

As others have mentioned, they used to be great and the least expensive for garden waste. Since the change over its been a nightmare dealing with them. I've changed companies now who are less expensive and more organised than Gabco - although Gabco are still sending me invoices. *eyerolls*

Was good and turned diabolical! Cant send an invoice to save their life! Horrible communication. I wouldn’t recommend them! Obviously have had a change of ownership and are slowly running this buisness to the ground

I think the old Gabco sold their business. Yvonne has gone: (and the whole system has changed. Hard to contact them, no response when you do and it's all now very impersonal. I cancelled because I went overseas, but if I was still in NZ I would be changing provider anyway.

Not even 1 star. Under new management apparently. No response to emails, no one answering the phone. No idea what is going on. Not good Gabco. Get your act together or you will have NO customers left.

No one answers the phone.no one answers my email. What an absolutely useless service! There should have an option of NO STAR at all for company like this!

New owners? Collection 1 week late. No invoice left in letter box as per before. Price raised by $2 without notice. ZERO COMMUNICATION. You suck.

Very unhappy with level of service from this provider, slow or no reply to emails and phone messages. Started service Jan 18 at $10 increased to $14 and now $16. Warning minimum collections 6, can't wait to go elsewhere.

The guys who pick up the bins are friendly and do a good job. The problem is with calling the office. The phone is rarely answered and when it is, the woman on the other end sounds like she really doesn't want to be talking to you. I have left messages at least 4 times and never has my called been returned. My landlord is paying for this service. I would not hire this company myself because of the poor customer service.
