Heat Pump City

Heat Pump City were recommended by a friend. Patrick explained why he recommended the placement of the heat pumps and was adaptable when I suggested an alternative site for one outdoor unit. The two workmen who installed the units contacted me when they knew they would be later than planned. They were 10 minutes later than originally arranged. They were good communicators and on completion of the job, one showed me how to operate the remote controller. I highly recommend this company.

Needed an EV charger installed at home. Have dealt with Heat Pump City in the past with heat pump installation, so got them to install this for me. Turned out much better than I imagined. All wiring are tucked away neatly, charger installed professionally. Prior to installation, good communication with us about how and where they plan to install. During installation they faced some unforeseen difficulties, however they stayed late to make sure job was completed. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, it took me half year to request them to fix my Daikin air conditioning problem… still only once one Technican came two months ago, sent the emails, called them and always answered no people, called Daikin and no responding, really the shame for the Japanese famous brand with such aftercare service… I am curious about their business, they are not doing any new business? Even my air-con is still under warranty, this year is the 3rd year, now I have given up and try to find the independent Technican and pay to fix it out….

Heat pump city installed our AC system approx 4 years ago. The system failed due to a gas leak which was promptly repaired however it has failed again, possibly due to further gas leak and we have been waiting almost 4 weeks for somebody to repair it with no luck. Disappointing service

The technician was on time and professional. He was very nice to deal with and gave me good honest tips on how to look after my AC unit. Would definitely use this business again.

Patrick helped us out when our aircon unit broke down mid summer. He had his guys here asap when other places said they couldn't install for about a month. They did a fantastic job. Very professional from the whole team and absolutely recommend them.

Booked in for a heat pump service. First the appointment time was changed then cancelled on the day. Was told someone would call to make another appointment, no call came. I phoned again, got voice mail.

Installation went without a hitch with all the technicians being very professional and friendly. They cleaned up well, cleared all the dust and rubbish and even wipe down the walls.

I had two Fujitsu heat pumps installed by Heat Pump City in 2015. They were the largest available models at the time, and are installed on the top floor of the house (ducted system), and the bottom floor (wall unit). The installation went smoothy, and the folks are Heat Pump City were always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The price was the best I could find anywhere in Auckland.

Both system have worked flawlessly over the entire time. The last service was in 2016. The technician who came out now, in 2021, was also very helpful and knowledgeable. He had some tips how to use the system to get even better performance out of it. In addition, he was a pleasure to talk to. I couldn't be happier! Many thanks Heat Pump City!

True proof of good service is how someone treats you when things go wrong.the installers were lovely.but when they left I had neither a manual or remote.couldn't use the unit for two weeks.and I had naively paid in full. When the remote did show up the unit sprayed water down my inside wall. I was offered an inferior unit as a replacement.for the same price as I paid for the better one. About two weeks later.hose connected properly.but in doing so even more water flooded my bedroom carpet.not even a courteous heads up. I had to buy a dehumidifier and running for a week to dry the carpet out.couple of weeks after that.electrician finally calls to complete paper work.which I didnt get for a couple more weeks. I still dont have a manual.but I do have water marked walls.and moldy skirting boards.and have been advised to contact my insurer. I dont leave bad reviews lightly.but I feel I gave Heat Pump City ample time.never raised my voice.never swore at anyone. I need a second unit in my lounge room. I wont be using Heat Pump City.
