Very good professional and reliable service.
One son had his brake pads done. It was explained thoroughly what the issue is. The other son had his car doors repaired. Ashok was very helpful and gave him a courtesy car even just for a small job. Reasonable price and we will definitely recommend Hygrade motors to everyone.

Great service from Hygrade Motors. Their customer service and quality work is excellent. Recently, I was going to give my Hyundai Tucson away to the car wreckers as the previous mechanic in Henderson said to fix the engine it’s a very difficult job and took months to find and order it’s engine part. We decided to give it to Hygrade motors to double check before we give up the car, thankfully they managed to dismantle the engine and fix the issue at a good price. Great job, keep it up! I am happy to share my review of Hygrade motors that I have been using as my only trusted service center for the past 15 years. I wouldn't trust my Mercedes GL500 with anyone other than them. They have consistently provided me with outstanding service and exceptional customer care.

From the moment I enter their workshop, I am greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always eager to assist me with my needs. The waiting area is always clean and comfortable, and there are plenty of amenities such as free Wi-Fi, magazines and coffee to enjoy while I wait.

The technicians at this service center led by Ashok, are highly skilled and experienced, and they always take the time to thoroughly explain any issues with my car and the recommended repairs. Bought a car and it needed a transmission fixed. Went here and had a great service, they did a good job and wasn't overpriced like other places, they helped me understand the issues behind the car, especially since I have no understanding of how cars really work. If you want good mechanics and ones that will find you a good deal on parts. Come to Hygrade Motors, they know what they're doing

Had my car serviced here twice. Really satisfied with their job. The staff is really helpful and friendly. They did the panel beating job for my car as well and offered me a reasonable price compared to others. Totally recommended!

Was a regular customer and they used to a great job all the time, but last time gave my friends car for repair (which I bought from him as he was stuck overseas because of COVID). It was an insurance work (someone broke into the car and tried to steal it) and it took a bit of time to get the car back from Hygrade. When I got the car back the seat belt light in dashboard was flashing when I asked the reason they said they can’t do anything because it doesn’t come under insurance cover. But when I took it to a different mechanic for WOF he said the reason for the dashboard light is that seatbelt has been replaced with an older model one. I had to pay extra $200 to get it done. After that I stopped serving my cars at Hygrade, Last week my friend came back to Nz (stuck overseas because of COVID) as the car was much familiar to him he wanted to buy the car back. He drove the car around and informed me that the petrol cap is not original and it’s replaced with a plastic type one and the insurance works we not done properly (dashboard board was not properly fixed and other stuffs like A/c not working) this is very unprofessional.

Have been going to Hygrade since 2012.10 years now and won’t be going anywhere else as long as I live in Auckland.
These guys are good, fast, prioritise the repairs, keep my costs low and my vehicles safe.
The entire extended family uses them too.

Went for a general service. They called to tell me I couldn't update my WOF unless I got new tyres because the tread depth was too low.
I got them to show me my old tyres and saw that the tread was still above the wear bars. The mechanic told me that the tread depth is measured from the wear bar, not the general tread groove. But after looking online I see that this isn't true. Because the wear bars were still below the tread, it was not yet necessary to replace my tires.
They are either dishonest or incompetent. Either way they've cost me a lot of money and they've lost my respect.
