Ignition Firewood

Used Ignition for four years, buying 6 cu m each season, prices ranged between $800 and as low as $700 with a discount one year (delivery free for the larger order). This year 2022 Jan price has increased to $1080! (no early discount offered in Nov/Dec, no free delivery) 55% up from last year. Unfortunately I’ve had to say no thanks and am spending on a heat pump. Not my first choice and sorry to forego my fave firewood but am disappointed

Thanks for the reply Carlos. I have always been really happy with the quality and special seasonal price. I admit I must’ve missed the advice of the deal. I think i got it mixed with all the covid Level 4 emails and stuff. Perhaps we’ll be on again next season

I have been using Ignition for 3 years now. Their Gum is absolutely the best quality and I have tried a few firewood places in Auckland. There is very little rubbish since they started screening. The communication and service from Carlos as always been impeccable and he looks after his regulars. The best go to place for firewood in Auckland. I would continue to buy from them if I stay in Auckland.

We have used Ignition Firewood a few times now.
The driver calls you the day before and arrives on time with a smile on his face and is very efficient. Very pleased with their service! Also the dry timber is actually dry and was great for burning straight away when we ran out!

I’ve got a truckload of wood each year and the service is great. Genuine, and friendly people. They work hard and the wood is good quality and exactly as listed. Such a reliable and simple process for me.

We received excellent service from Ignition Firewood. They kept us up to date regarding the delivery and wood is nice and dry. Great for our fire place and braai (bbq).

This is one of the rare examples of the advertising living up to the product. The website says that they sell kiln dried fire wood and that's exactly what you get. It's great to know that when I need to light a fire, I'm not going to have to fight with damp wood for like 20 minutes every night. Excellent service. The team also has great communication when it comes to delivering the wood. Thanks for making the winter a bit more tolerable.

During lock down we ran out of fire wood for our fire pit, we called ignition firewood and they got out order sent the next day, they are very firendly, professsional and efficent, but most of all we had fun outside during lock down

Lockdown hit and I was out of firewood. I placed an online order with Ignition with an estimated delivery date of one week. Carlos emailed the next day and confirmed the day and time window, and the wood was delivered on time. The driver was courteous and checked location with me before tipping the wood. Good quality dry wood, and one of the better value options available even though there is a delivery fee for being outside 40km delivery radius. I’ll be ordering their summer special for next winter once lockdown is over!

Such an easy process. Ordered and paid online one evening, was emailed early the next morning with a delivery day and time which was a lot sooner than I expected. Very helpful and friendly delivery person too. Would 100% recommend Ignition Firewood!

In level 4 lockdown, we had totally run out of wood and no where we could go locally had any, we were frozen! I found this company online and am so pleased that I did. They are excellent. The arranged the quickest delivery time and were here within days, the wood is amazing, really good quality, dry and burns amazingly, (we've had the wood burner for about 17 years and so have tried many companies in the past). They were really friendly, really professional and so helpful. This is by far the best service and absolutely the best wood we have ever got. We will definitely be using Ignition Firewood again. They are really far from us, so we can't collect and have to pay a delivery fee, but it is totally worth it. Just wish I'd found them sooner!

Have been ordering our firewood from the guys at ignition for two years now. Can't fault them, delivery always on time, great drivers more than happy to accommodate on where we like the wood dropped. Mixture of hard and softwood works great for us
