In Residence

Absolutely disorganized and hopeless to deal with. Ordered a vanity with 8 weeks delivery. Got to 8 weeks and they didn't know when it might arrive, whether it was made, or even when ordered from their supplier. "They hoped it might arrive soon" and promised to call back and failed to do so four times! Finally their director called after I threatened to come down to their premises and scream, only to tell me they just got a shipment. I asked if my goods were on it, and he said he didn't know. I asked when my goods were ordered, he didn't know. I asked when it might arrive if it's not in this order, he said they would air freight it out, but didn't know when it would be made. I mean to say, never have I dealt with such a bunch of inept people. How hard is it to deliver goods you sell, or at least manage customer expectations and call people back with factual information customers can rely on. In summary I recommend not using In Residence. Despite their beautiful goods (they are beautiful), their service is incompetent, inept and unreliable.
