Koikaa - Custom Made Curtains and Blinds

We had our curtains done with Kim at Koikaa and have been thoroughly impressed by the standard of the product and the service all throughout the entire process! The curtains are of excellent quality and really complete the visual balance of our home. We got curtains for our study, bedroom and the lounge, and Koikaa did it all made to measure so that they fit perfectly in our spaces. My husband went to the initial consult and came away from it feeling very excited for our curtains and they are even more gorgeous than we were anticipating! Kim was very helpful, she provided valuable guidance in us choosing the colours and materials, and we love that we could get the measurements professionally done, the curtains made and professionally installed, all with Koikaa! And for a very reasonable price too. Such a great one stop shop for beautiful, high quality curtains fashioned out of great fabrics and made with love. Would highly recommend this business. We will be getting all of our curtains from here now after what has been such a pleasant experience from initial consult to enjoying the lovely curtains that are now in our home!

Sadly, I would not recommend Koikaa to anyone. We had a terrible experience with them almost end-to-end. All went well with measuring the curtains. From there, we never received any proactive contact throughout. If I hadn't contacted them, I would never have known that our curtains would be delayed. They advertise a 3 week turn-around and ours turned out to be more like 9-10 weeks. Once we finally had the curtains, they were ok quality but there were a number of mistakes. The curtains went back and then we were told it would take another 3-4 weeks to get them fixed. The only time we ever heard proactively from them was when they wanted money. When we held back the final 50% instalment until the curtains were fixed (they actually asked us to pay before completing the job), suddenly, the curtains were fixed almost overnight (strange how it goes from 3 weeks to 1 day). I shared my frustrations with the owner, I asked for options, I shared that I couldn't sleep at night as we had no curtains in the house and they simply never even acknowledged the frustration, didn't offer any solutions and it simply was "it is what it is. " Unless you don't care about customer service or when you get your curtains, I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone and I hope the team there are able to fix some issues they have around communication and operations as there seems to be a serious challenge that needs resolving.

We changed curtains and blinds for the whole house and loved it. Material is very good and beautiful range of colours to select from, Just like we wanted. Thank you kim for guiding us with the colour selection and ideas for what will go with our interior.
