Visited their showroom. Service was very average, both ladies didn’t show much interest in serving us instead both decided to talk to another couple walking in after us.
When asked about quotes were told in a very rude manner no quotes offered in store. Filled in a form for a quote and measure, still waiting for anyone to contact or visit us. What a joke this place, with judgemental people. Just because people wear sportswear and come visit after a workout doesn’t mean they can’t afford your services. Would not recommend this place to anyone take your money elsewhere.

Kiri was knowledgeable and helpful when choosing fabric and colours. Curtains made and installed by the timeframe promised when order was confirmed. Very happy with finished product.

Great company, helped us source special fabrics for a large scale art installation/film project. Very supportive.

Shout out to Anna, the LaHood consultant for Auckland's north shore. After disappointing experiences at other suppliers it was fantastic to deal with Anna. She gave great advice to replace our old bedroom curtains, and to put a roller blind on an office window.

I Requested Quotation for a “Swing Arm Canopy” and, in support supplied all relevant information together with photographs of the situation for installation, the resultant forthcoming was absolutely negative, I had to follow up upon my overture only to ascertain nothing had been done.

This basic lack professionalism business acumen together with a demonstrated lack of technical knowledge dictated I proceed to an alternative supplier.

Ann-Louise from Lahood has been incredible to work with. She provided me with beautiful samples to choose from and practical advice that only comes with years of experience. Had organised to drop our Roman Blinds (purchased through Lahood) in to get repaired as 3 of the cords had broken, we phoned to say we were on our way with them but the lady proceeded to say that no we would have to take them to The Curtain Clinic which is an hour drive for us and inconvenient. But more the point she went back on her word from when we had booked them in for repair, with no hint of apology.

I ordered curtain and blinds for 4 rooms, and now they're installed I'm very happy with them. There was a delay because of a flaw to one of the fabrics, but this issue was eventually resolved and curtains for the other rooms were installed as per the original plan, with just the one affected room delayed. Installation once the curtains were made was very efficient.

Sent through an enquiry to get some help with furnishing my windows in my house. However when the lady called she wasn't keen to come out to measure up until she knew what my budget was and what style I was looking for. Hmmm.

Have just used Lahood for the 3rd time and really pleased with the blinds and curtains installed and the outstanding service. Your knowledge and design expertise is a big help - thanks!

After the measure and quote service I’ve decided not to proceed any further with this company due to the way my inquiry was handled.

The design lady arrived with her samples and after showing me several, and admittedly spending some time discussing, I was met with a question ‘so, have you made your decision? ’
Seemingly implying that I was procrastinating- good grief.

She left the curtain samples with me and two weeks passed before I heard from her.

When I responded that I would like a quotation
1. There was no checking which curtains I wanted the quote for - I was actually going to proceed with a quote for alternatives tothe ones I had settled on.
2. As regards having her drop in to collect the samples, I was asked to take them to my office in the city as “I was out of her area”.

Again, good grief. Does Lahood only service in Mt Eden? What sort of ethos does the company have, sending such signals that they don’t want to service clients who live 6-7 km away?

As a business owner I travel around the country as far south as Invercargill to meet prospective clients and I’m put off this initial encounter with Lahood. Just appalling.

Highly recommend visiting the Lahood showroom in Mt Eden for new ideas and inspiration. The team there will look after you guaranteed.

Audrey was fantastic and guided me in the right direction for a curtain choice. The curtains turned out great and the after sales service for minor adjustments has been prompt and pain free.

The place to be for quality custom made curtains of any measurement. Free measurement and quote at your home service is excellent backed up by speedy installation and quality products.

I would never recommend this store to anyone. My job took over 18 months with many alterations due to the wrong measurements and total lack of communication. The customer service was appalling and it started at the top. Think twice before engaging Lahood Window Furnishings.

Updated: installer was great, finished product superb. Shifted from 2 to 4 stars reflecting the quality of the outcome. /previously reviewed: Unfortunately missed deadlines sour experience. Now a month over estimated install date and missed second install date expectation.

I love this store. Quality products which I love. It’s also great for just getting some great interior ideas
