Ravi turned up within 45mins on a Saturday evening after we discovered a blocked sewer pipe in the back garden. Amazing service, and everything was sorted before bed time.

A previous plumber was sent around by our body corp (Barfoot & Thompson) to inspect my shower area over a month ago because there was a leak to apartment below. That plumber did not fully investigate nor did that plumber or the body corp follow up with me after the visit which I had paid for, the result? I was unable to use the shower during that period. I asked a paint company who were working in the common area of my apartment building for a recommendation and laser plumbing was their recommendation. Laser plumbing was easy to book with, they promptly came around, thoroughly investigated what the cause of the problem was, explained clearly what could be the possible causes could be- made repairs accordingly - and asked me to check with the apartment downstairs to ensure the leak had been resolved. To be safe I used the shower over one week - and checked in with my apartment below to ensure the leak was gone. The leak is resolved and what stands in stark contrast to me is the difference between the professional plumbing service I received from Laser with their timely follow ups and articulate communications both in person and through emails - and the previous plumbing service.

Came home from work to discover a burst pipe under the house. Luisa who took my call was very helpful, calm and professional. She told me she would have a plumber to me within 30 mins or so and emailed me the call out fees so there were no surprises. The plumber Michael arrived on time and quickly fixed the problem as well as testing the repair. This was my first experience with Laser / Osborne Plumbing and I would totally recommend them, really professional, responded fast and reasonable charging. Helped me out during a stressful time. Your team came and installed my oven – with some problems which they overcame (and organised an electrician). The lads were professional, courteous and lovely to deal with. They are a credit to your team and overall organisation.

After seeing the Laser Plumbing van at my neighbours house I booked them in to come and do a quick job on a leaking hose. It took 10 mins to replace and I was charged $236. That is a minimum 1 hour labour fee: $124, a new hose: $51.29 plus additional $30 covid fee - (maybe the office asking when I booked several questions for 20 secs and a quick spray with disinfectant by the plumber on completion - who knows). However, although the work was fine, the charges way too expensive. I could have bought the hose myself at RRP for half that, to say nothing of a plumber charge out rate of $124 per hour. Just be wary of this service if it's a very small job. Subsequently, on using my washing machine, the hose blew off the fitting and completely flooded my laundry and adjacent areas. Fortunately I was within meters of the appliance when that happened and was able to turn everything off, otherwise we would have been in for a major clean up costs. Even so, I had a lot longer than 10 mins in cleaning up the flood, laundering towels, running fan heater etc.

Very impressed by the quick service - we called the after hours number early in the morning, less than half an hour later they called back to confirm someone would be there by 8am. Martin arrived at 8am sharp and had sorted the problem in under an hour. Thank you!

Installation by Chris Herbert and his colleague was excellent. Work executed under difficult conditions dealing with multiple tenants requests. Consistently excellent and response time including the administrative staff most appreciated. My apology for being one of those difficult tenants.

They communicate well at every step of the way. Their invoices are detailed and emailed in a timely manner. They would be my plumbing company of preference for the whole of the Auckland area.
