I'm happy with the service and end result. I had a small porch re-roofed but it was quite a complex job. After approaching some other roofing trades people, they either didn't want to touch it or didn't bother to turn up on site. They must be fixing leaks so big and urgent that they do not have the time to properly park when there is clearly a better way to park that would result in the same distance travel to the van and no blocking of the footpath. Their job is important, others around are not.

Really nice company to deal with. They really seem to care about their customers which, in my experience, is rare these days. Hats off to Jeremy in particular who has gone above (no pun intended) and beyond for our family time and again.

Gas fitting faulty and broke Water heating unit and no hot water in the house. Very thorough repair and certainly knew what he was doing and all regulations relating to this.

Solomon and the crew went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out and undo the damages that the previous roofer had caused to my property. I can easily say that if it wasn’t because of their rapid response before the storm arrived, the damages to my building would have been catastrophic.

A very professional and timely assessment of the roof-flashing leak problem (not always easy to trace) when help was asked for, and a very good repair completed when materials became available, together with a good information process from start to finish, and a useful set of photos of the problem and the solution, 'for the record' at job completion. Couldn't have asked for more!

My plumbing needs are actually something they are best in doing.

The most arrogant attitude from customer service contact I've ever experienced!
The plumber arrived at 2: 17pm instead of around 11am as previously agreed with an admin lady over the phone. The agreement was the Plumber would arrive at around 11am but he will call 30 mins prior to arrival. I arranged my work meetings around this job so I could be back for the plumber and I waited for the plumber to call. However, the plumber didn't get the full message, only rang at 1: 30pm advising he would be there at 2pm. I had to rearrange a meeting at short notice and then rushed back but he arrived at 2: 17pm instead of 2. The job turned out to be a very small job, involving tightening up one strew to the shower mixer, that's all. 7 mins in total from arrival to departure.
2 weeks later, I received an invoice from their office manager charging me for an hour of labour plus admin fee. I asked her to kindly revise the invoice to 1/2 hour as good will for the inconvenience caused by the lateness and for such a small job. However, the response I received from the office manager was a shocker. She didn't bother checking with the admin lady who I spoken to, blatantly denied any prior agreement, no apologies to lateness or inconvenience it had caused me. AND, she stated: "Please feel free to lodge a complaint with the Plumbers & Drainlayers board if you wish".

No wonder many businesses fail, because they hire people with no common sense as their first point of customer contact. Anyone, I mean anyone, who has remotely any business acumen wouldn't encourage clients to lodge a complaint against themselves or their businesses. What is she trying to achieve here? Why is common sense not so common these days?

The one hour minimum charge is something I can accept once explained. However, the arrogant attitude is beyond me. Wouldn't it be so much easier if she had just apologised for the inconvenience caused by miscommunication between their office staff and the plumber? We're only human, miscommunication happens. A simple apology, and then people would move on.

The denial of any wrong doing without investigation and an invitation to lodge a formal complaint doesn't do the business any good.

Work performed was fine but the invoicing process was very unprofessional and made me question their integrity.

Make sure that you record time of arrival and departure of the plumber to avoid being overcharged.

I engaged their service to replace the toilet's inlet valves which appeared to be done properly. However, when I received the invoice I was charged an additional 0.5 hr and we knew this because we recorded the time of arrival and departure of the plumber. When we questioned this, they then credited the extra 0.5 hr that they would have charged us had we not questioned.

I raised this concern with them expressing my disappointment, they then went on to say that the credit of 0.5 hr was in "good faith" saying if they include the travel time it would go closer to 1.5hr. This was very different to the call I had before engaging them when they said because my place is very close (less than 5mins drive from their office), I won't be charged for travel. Also when they showed me the GPS report, I actually found that the plumber was in fact travelling from Henderson not from their office (which took much longer) so unless it is their policy to charge customers from the plumber's last location I don't know what I was being charged for. Lastly, I found that their recording of time is not entirely accurate on GPS either at least when compared to my record.

Overall, lack of integrity around ensuring correct time is charged to customers and unprofessional responses provided when questioned really made our experience with them terrible.

Cannot recommend.

Kia Ora. Laser Plumbing service has been great because I had to find someone with a more reasonable cost to fix an urgent job. They responded promptly, I was worried that I might get a shocking bill for the service. BUT Laser Plumbing has been great with their pricing on the job 50% off what I had been quoted for. I know WOW. Recommended anyone to give them a try. Positive business that serves the community.

I just built a new commercial kitchen in my garage and had the Laser Plumbing guys come and hook up the water and instal the tap. It was a bit of a tricky job but Dave the plumber was awesome and did a fantastic job. Couldn't recommend them higher enough, thanks again guys!

I had initially contacted another business who wanted me to climb onto the roof to take photo's from different angles to send to them of a flue from a wood burner to be removed, not particularly safe to ask customers to do and possibly quite dangerous. Needless to say I didn't bother responding. I instead contacted Laser Plumbing in Whenuapai. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Solomon who could give me a date and time to take a look and he turned up exactly when he said he would and didn't require me to get on the roof. A great relief. He looked at what work needed to be undertaken. He promptly emailed a very reasonable quote which I accepted. He gave a date of delivery for items needed and when workmen would turn up to do the work. I was even phoned in advance to let me know they were on their way. The delivery driver for the roofing iron was great to deal with and on date and time as were the workmen for the roofing work who even took away the old flue for us. A very professional and excellent job undertaken by these workmen and I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone wanting quality work at a great price. Thankyou to the team at Laser Plumbing, a professional company who obviously takes pride in their work.

I'm amazed that you were able to get someone out to me on the same day that I called. Called to me that they would be with me soon, and they were. Promptly fixed the issues, no problems.

Really helpful, prompt service under Alert Level 4 and on a weekend to help replace our rinnai water heater and get us hot water again.
