After a service on my Victa lawn mower in October 2022, I started to have problems. The mower wouldn't start, ran unevenly and virtually died on me. So I took a neighbours advice and went to Grasslands in Howick. They could not figure out what I had been charged $185 for, as they said it clearly hadn't had a full service in a good while, certainly not within the last 5 months! The photo is the invoice for what had to be done. I am livid with Lawnheat. Not only was my mower not properly serviced, I was treated rudely on the phone. I will never use Lawnheat& Leisure again and will make sure none of my friends are ever subjected to what I have had to deal with. Sad lack of professionalism.

Rude, incompetent and condescending “owner”. Don’t treat their customers with even an ounce of respect. We had an absolutely disgusting experience here and want to make everyone aware of the terrible service.

Highly recommend Steve and his staff. I’ve brought allot of Husqvarna battery tools from them over the last year and they have given me excellent service and most importantly for me their after service has been top notch. I will be buying more gear off them in the future for sure.

Customer service especially from the “owner” was absolutely rude. I completely understand everyone has their own issues but being rude to customers who are only there seeking help is not okay! I can’t imagine if my mother went in alone without me there. Horrible. We had two encounters and should have learnt from the first encounter. Would not recommend. Would rather drive all the way out west to get what we need then 2 mins down the road to these guys. If I could give zero stars I would.

Used Lawnheat & Leisure to have my weedeater serviced twice, but the weedeater still heated up and I had problems. So just happened to be passing Papakura Lawn mowers, and dropped in for a quote that I was happy with, and after replacing a little part, my weedeater works amazing. Definitely would be happy to drive to Papakura for repair not to Lawnheat & Leisure.

From one of the staff, it was very very rude behavior. It was shocking that without customer'saggression, how can you be that rude? I felt so insulted therefore wouldn't go back there.

You know when you go into a place and you can tell right away that this was a waste of time? This is NOT that place. Went in with a baffle that was deformed from extreme heat in my fireplace and Michelle immediately said she wasn't sure she could help but asked to check with one of the techs to be safe. Guy looked from a distance and said "we got it". I appreciate that they didn't just send me away and made the effort. Highly recommended.

I sent my 15yr old Victa Bronco 19" in for repair last week. Excellent communication and service. Very reasonable pricing. As an auto mechanic, I normally do the basic repairs on small engines myself but when it looks like costing me more than it's worth in my own time, I will send it out to a specialist. Very glad I did in this case. Highly recommend this business.

I don’t normally provide reviews, but I felt the need to tell people that if you want outstanding customer service, professionalism and fantastic outdoor products, then you don’t need to go any further than Lawnheat and Leisure.
I can honestly say that dealing with Lawnheat and Leisure, I had the best customer care I have ever had, seriously! It’s a shame you can’t choose more than 5 stars.
Aviva was absolutely amazing! She was fantastic to deal and such an awesome communicator. I can honestly say that Aviva was the best customer service person I have ever encountered (+10 stars or legendary status). Thank you so much

The best customer service i have ever had from lawnmower shop. The staff are very professional and they care about you. Full respect to the owner and very knowledgeble staff. They actually helps you to choose the quality product at reasonable price according to your garden needs. I will definitely recommend them by professionalism and worth a visit. I have had a woman hate me issue there few years ago. I was in my rights she talked stupidly I had my mum with me. I felt let down. I didn't go back here for a few years. Recently the same woman snubbed me, but I had another woman who showed me respect. I got good service it was a Win, /win situ this time. Costs have gone up since insult I not forget but at least I got what I wanted, David, Otara Au kland

Bought a chainsaw from them used it but was to small. Went back and spoke with them and got almost all my money back and bought a bigger chainsaw from them. Great people to deal with.

Great service and advice. Well worth going to professionals that know there products than big general stores.

I asked if they heard of Masport fire place and by God Michele went on and on.
.
Cut a long story short, they were able to replace ALL of our broken bricks and replaced only our Flute and they took ages to finalize our account.
Great service, great customer experience and excellent price.

Actually an honest lawnmower service centre that does a great job! We've had problems with other companies being dishonest with not doing a comprehensive service.

They've installed a Masport fireplace for us last winter and went above and beyond giving us the perfect wrap around service delivered on time and budget. Brilliant work guys, we couldn't be happier!

Experience and skill peoples there, can obtain super advice from them. Worth to visit and consult them before you buy any graden and swimming pool equipments.

Have just had a Rinnai Neo freestanding gas fiire installed by Steve and his crew, the speed of service from quote to complete instalation was amazing along with good advice. Robin Trevallion and the guys from Marine & Domestic Gas did a very professional job and were awesome to deal with. I would highly reccomend Lawnheat & leisure and will certainly be back in the future.

Steve was really helpful. Bought a Husky 135, good advice from Steve and real 'can do' attitude. I will go back for servicing and other products.
