Excellent product knowledge and project execution. They listened to all my ideas and we designed the solar/battery solution together. Rather than maximum solar generation, we asked for un-interruptible power supply system. We are very pleased with the result. I am selling my petrol generator.

The sales team did a very good job, presented well and very professional, and provided all the information we needed to make an informed decision.
The install went well enough, took 2 days (as scheduled) but weather meant day 2 had to be delayed a week – not Lightforce’s fault. There was a problem with the wiring, and a tech had to come back to fix it, done within a couple of days.
There was a couple of other glitches post install, which delayed the final inspection, but were ultimately sorted out.
We have a 16 panel system with a single 6kW battery. It is all performing as expected, looking forward to long summer days with plenty of sunlight hitting those panels.
Overall, pleased with Lightforce, as I said, a couple of glitches, but got there and things are going very well.

We were delighted with Light force initial presentation even though we live in Nelson and it was a zoom conference - after getting 3 different companies to quote we felt that all our questions were answered. The installation was so quick and effective - just wish the local power authority had played ball but we are very happy with our installation and pleased to be out of the clutches of energy companies

Thought the sales pitch was excellent, however, since the installation we have found many holes in our information. This has had a bearing on how we deal with the next step of installing a battery. As people that didn't know anything about solar, we didn't know all the right questions to ask. As it turns out, we missed a few vital questions that should have been pre-empted by the sales team. We also find that the messaging service is of little value as we rarely get the call backs that they promise.
The installation went very well and within 6 hours, we were using the sun for our power.

Very little has gone according to plan on this job. The Trina solar panels offered were slightly too wide to comfortably install on my available roof but nobody picked this up until after they were installed. Other brands of panel with slightly narrower form factor would have covered more of my roof with active panels and left some maintenance access for cleaning my guttering.
My electricity retailer still hasn't installed in import/export meter.they don't seem to be in a hurry with that and they aren't responding to my enquiries. This is quite significant because in the meantime, they are charging me full retail for every kWh I import _and_ every kWh I export. My power bill suddenly doubled on the day the inverter was switched on!

Lightforce were very attentive during the sales process and unfortunately since install, communications have been limited from them despite numerous attempts from us. The message service does not seem to work for customer service. I have edited this review, as today finally we have some traction, but it really has taken a lot of emails, calls and repeated requests. The story of the meter and bill changes is not over, so we shall see.

We had a great experience with Light force and are very pleased with the end result.
They were very professional in their approach and followed up quickly on any queries we had.
The installation team also did a great job and consulted with us throughout the instal process.

If you are in the market for a solar system I would definitely recommend Lightforce.

Great help from Jake, sales team and we shared electric bills and pictures of the house and after that there was a zoom meeting where all details was on display. Easy and great as we could se options of the package we could choose.

The installation team out of Hamilton was truly great, polite and did their outmost to suit our needs and wishes. I now got the wires inside the wall and ity looks great!

As we went with the battery pack, we have power when we are home in the evening, sure it is pretty expensive but in the long run it pays off. Must say we love the Energizer app that shows the usage and you can see directly when the dryer or oven is on, sure makes you aware of how much some appliances use and we save more by using them if possibly at daytime when it is free from the sun. A normal day in Bay of Plenty we have the battery fully charged around 11.00-12.00. This is summertime and as we head off to winter we hope that the sun and battery is enough to heat our house during evening and night. Anyway we will save heaps and get paid for the energy we load into the grid. Not so much but it helps.

If you think of getting a EV you will save even more as you can use the excess power to charge instead of sending it to the grid.

Did not want to do a review before using the system for some time and after about 5 months use we had little to none issues.

I was concerned that the panels on the roof would stick out and look bad but they are now pretty thin and we got ours in black with no ugly pattern. We don't notice them anymore.

Found the sales team both professional and prompt. Great use of distance technology to share necessary costs and benefits of installing Solar. This was followed up by excellent hard copy data, to assist our decision making process.

We recently had a solar system with battery installed by Lightforce. Communication was good throughout and the installation team were very great. They did an excellent job of optimising the panel position on the roof and the inverter/battery combo in an aesthetically ideal spot. The whole process went well, the team were friendly and professional. The system is up and running and working without a hitch.

The team at Lightforce were great, and persistent despite some challenging weather. I came to them with a slightly more off the wall request and they managed it competently. Other solar companies had simply told me that I wouldn't be profitable enough for them.

We found Lightforce to be the best of the solar companies that we investigated. Their representative, Dan, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He attended our home personally on the day the system was installed to ensure all went smoothly. It has worked very well and we are very happy with the service and backup. Highly recommended!

Lightforce were fantastic, the solar system and battery they quoted us was really well priced. It definitely felt like they were the experts vs.all the other companies we received quotes from. Recommend them highly if you want amazing service and everything to run smoothly as well as great ongoing support!

We used Lightforce to Install 6kW of solar with an 8.2kWh battery. Their service is hard to beat!
We received 3 other quotes and no one could explain their product or why we needed it. The other companies were very pushy which Lightforce were not.
We have also moved to Lightforce Power and are saving even more money there.
I have received two follow up calls to see how things were going which is unheard of these days.
I can't recommend Lightforce enough!

We highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing a solar system.

Lightforce installed 21 panels on my roof, and then a battery a couple of months later, both at an excellent price. Everyone involved has been friendly, knowledgable, skilled and very patient with all my questions. The installation of both the panels and the battery went really well, and the savings are incredible. Getting solar has been such a happy experience, and with Luke and his team, you feel like you've made a whole bunch of friends as well
