The Pork Ribs, Steak were excellent. And very good portions. Highly recommend. Booked to go back for Sunday lunch.

Great vibes, heaps of seating at front and love how it transitions from a bar/lounge to a club vibe (around 11: 30pm).

Great place to get blitzed and dance the night away. Safe environment due to security and great bartenders.

Have been here twice & both times had incredibly rude staff. Ponsonby has come a long way over the last 5/6 years, but this place holds true to the pretentious reputation of old. Plus there's always a line, even if it is nowhere near full. I always persuade friends not to go here these days.

Taking a walk down Ponsonby Road on the Tuesday afternoon we arrived in Auckland and stopped in for a glass of wine. Nice outdoor area for a nice day, friendly staff and good wine. Short but refreshing stop. Hear it's a bit different at night, but I'm too old for that scene.

Great place, but can sometimes get too crowded for comfort. But I guess that's a good thing for most?

Would be a great rinsing spot if the alcohol didnt taste so weak, almost as if its just soda water sometimes.

Wasn't allowed to be let in due to not wearing correct shoes. Wasn't told what correct shoes were and haven't had the same treatment from other bars due to wearing my sneakers.

Nice trendy eatery and bar in the heart of busy Ponsonby Road. Always hustling with people and quite lively as well. Vegetarian options are lesser in number though. The food taste and preparation is good. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Parking can be a problem though since the area is always busy. Well recommended.

Great breakfast. Atmosphere is OK. The creamy mushrooms dish is quite good, however, the eggs benedict usually does not have a runny yolk, which I think can be improved. The other dishes are quite good. A common favourite of my colleagues is the poke bowl.

Not very many vegetarian options but you can make the Buddha bowl vegan and it was delicious! Very nice for some after work drinks and food. Also a great place to dance, drink and party on the weekends. They move the tables at the back to make a great dance floor.

Enjoyed sitting on the deck catching the last rays of sunshine, whilst drinking a superb Rosé. Had some lovely platter enjoyed the squid and the Chip's came in gravy. Yummy but our vegetarian less pleased, oh well can't please everyone. Venue was smart and staff were friendly.

Nice bar, there is a smoking area so is a little Smokey, but good music and reasonable drinks, good oitdoor area as well. Not really a sports bar, more a drinking bar, not smart either, pretty casual despite the photos.

Ok place. Very crowded on Friday / Saturday nights.
Our group was only a little noisy (as everyone would be on a Saturday night) and were asked to leave. But since the place was nothing great, we obliged and left.

Pretty expensive for what you get. I expect better. But you're paying for the atmosphere I guess? It's like a computer game with amazing graphics but bad character development.

My wife and I just wanted a quick bite while waiting for our daughter. We had the shared seafood platter which was excellent

The food was good, but there was a table of 6 people smoking. I thought you couldn't smoke in restaurants any more. Guess the owners don't care about the law.

Their service is awesome. Meals are delicious and moderately priced. What surprised me the most was the kids meals. For $11 (or $12?) they have various options for kids, and it includes a glass of fresh juice and a dessert (ice cream with sprinkles and a churro!).

Not only that, but if you take kids on Sundays from 5-7pm, they'll eat for free with every main order. Definitely somewhere else to go back over and over again!

My husband and I caught up with friends in the weekend. My go to is an Expesso Martini which I usually ONLY buy from my favorite barladies @our favorite club. So when I order one elsewhere (& have done in the past with disappointment), I'm always hesitant as the barman/lady has pretty big boots to fill. The one I received was not the same as my usual (which seems to have a bit more alcohol in it) but in saying that, the one I received was actually REALLY nice. So thank you to the hansum young guy who made my taste buds happy that day The venue is cozy, staff are helpful, nice place to go.
