Peach’s Hot Chicken

Good food. I'm more of a sour, not sweet, pickle lover myself, but the OG burger was pleasant. Nice large amount of fries. Light modern clean interior. Once was enough for me - an enjoyable memory. But I can completely understand why there are so many fans. Panmure is a lucky neighbourhood indeed.

Great chicken as expected. Highly recommend a beer along with the chicken especially if you order medium spicy or higher. If you have a low tolerance to spice then stick to mild because this chicken is seriously good and real spicy. Definitely worth a visit if you are a fried chicken connoisseur

Been here so many times and every time the food is top notch. The best chicken burger I’ve ever had in my life! Everyone I’ve taken has agreed!

The Baller is a must-have! Ordered the Holy Cluck hot.but would recommend the Hot level of spice for extra flavour.

Possibly the best chicken in town. Expect a 25 minute wait with a near empty restaurant as they rightfully cook to order. Have gone back for more

Delicious chicken (and sides), great service, funky deco, nz brewed beer and they even have a hand basin next to the bar to wash your hands after all that chicken licking deliciousness.

They cook the chicken to order so best to call and order in advance. Well worth the wait though. Decent sized sides servings. Excellent fried chicken taste. Redefines what spicy fried chicken should be.

Oh how we missed having their chicken on waffles! Still the best! Happy that they have their resto now. But still miss them visiting the shore.:) The place is just a bit hot during lunch. And not so good for adults with kids - takeout is the best solution.

While their chicken is great, there service is consistently slow. Have been to their food truck and to the store, and in both locations wait was over 30 minutes. Regardless, I keep going back.

If I could give them more stars I would. Their chicken waffles were divine. Expect a 25-40 minutes wait during the rush hours.

Honestly this is the best fried chicken you can get in NZ. It is crispy, juicy and delicious. They are VERY popular so go early or miss out. (And that would be terrible because they do EPIC chicken). Highly recommended.

Just had Peaches Hot Chicken and although the burgers were tasty and the Fried chicken was awesome. The chips were dry and a tad cold. & I don't understand why, for a kids meal Chicken Tenders and a free side (fries) is $12 for 4 small pieces of chicken and dry chips? That's all. Overall the Baller Sandwich is dam good. Would still come back but just to get that sandwich ️ Thanks Peach's

Best fried chicken burger and pretty good selection of sides too. Go early this place was choka at 6pm Sat so our wait time abt 30mins, well worth the wait!

However experienced a slightly frustrating customer service.

I ordered a "Fried chicken sandwich". Which there is only one description of fried chicken sandwich being.the kids menus that came with fries. The lady asked me which sandwich which I asked. Do I need to choose one? So I chose OG sandwich.

So the order came as OG sandwich without the fries. Which I then kindly asked for the fries which should have come with the fried chicken sandwich. I was declined, she insisted she repeated the order. Obviously it was OG sandwich. Because she asked me which Fried chicken sandwich?

Confusing first time experience which incurred an extra charge for a full order of fries. After explaining the misunderstanding which I thought the teller had a big part of. Which followed a reply of. They are all chicken sandwich. Which I then thought you shouldn't label the kids menu a generic "fried chicken sandwich" which confuses both staff and customer. Please change the kids menu description to something other than "Fried chicken sandwich"

You should get here NOW, before the hipster crowds from the city rush to Panmure. This is, hands down, the best Fried Chicken I've had in New Zealand or Australia.

Great beers on tap, a choice of white or dark meat (but unfortunately no mixed plate yet - keep asking for it, it'll happen eventually!), fresh and tasty sides, the works. This place would stand up and be counted in the Melbourne CBD. It could hold its head high in the American South. This is seriously good fried chicken. Why are you still reading this? You should be there by now.

In evenings, be ready for a wait - I recommend lunches.

Food is awesome, really nice service, great comfortable sit down area. Food was a little slow in coming - however i did order seconds after they opened their door so i can cut them some slack. Would recommend going for Holy Cluck.

Had Peach's Chicken today at Laneway - waited 20 odd minutes after ordering two $14 chicken burgers. Absolute disappointment. I don't know how $14 can be charged for a lacklustre, flavourless chicken burger. Would not recommend.
