The store manager treat customer as a fool, bought a vacuum from this store, it broken for the fist time use, then they refuse to return it, and sent it back to repaire, for 20 days, no update, even though I call back for update several times, worst place ever, never buy anything from them!

Great selection of materials in the yard. Staff service in the yard can be a bit hit and miss especially when they're busy at peek tradie times in the morning. Counter staff are always good and friendly.

Highest price, worst customer service, if you wanna lose money, come to this place, otherwise go to bunnings or mitre 10!

Truck drivers can enter at 7am generally. Can fit large truck and trailers if needed. Great staff

Frist time that I have ever been to a placemakes and been asked if I needed help, not that I did but was nice to see, wellinton placemakes could really take note of them. Thanks guys I'll be back at your store soon

I have been using this store recently in the last few months and have had massive savings thanks to an individual in the drive through area. Thank you Mr Steve Zhong for letting me use your staff discount, I drove in one day and was being served by a nice young man when Steve intervened and offered me a discount! It also turns out we were from the same province in China! (small world!) I definitely recommend this PlaceMakers, great service, always fully stocked, friendly staff and a bonus if your Chinese you get offered premium staff discounts all the time, just go see Steve in drive thru he will sort you out!

It used to be my go to store but now it’s smaller the range reflects this so unfortunately I do shop elsewhere.

Barely anyone to help you let alone process transactions so you can pay and leave.
Need more staff.

Awesome place friendly staff and very fit staff they are very bubblely and positive and see lot of them at my gym i workout in snapfitness just next door keep up the good work.

I regularly shop at this store but only as I hold an account there. The service in the retail store is well below what you experience at their closest competitors. This store has a very limited range, very few staff on hand or available to help and most staff seem disinterested in general. The trade section is marginally better and has a great range of the essential supplies. The kitchen section has been a good addition and I've had a good experience when dealing with the staff in this section.but overall I usually come away from the retail store mystified as to why the service is so poor. I think they need to find some more energetic, approachable and helpful staff that care about customer service.

Staff at placemakers are always willing to help out, they are a great team and seem to be one of the best players in their space. Definitely the go to place for those serious about good service and unbeatable products!

Alot of the staff are either disinterested or quite unhelpful. Prices to the the public are generally 10% higher than Bunnings and Mitre 10. If you get a Placemakers card then they take 10% off but it only means you are paying the same as anywhere else.

No staff. Que at the till was 8 people deep and then they we're unable to help. Works building store experience to date. And other customers commented the same

Today the staff treated customers at Mt Wellington fabulous. The young lady today was friendly engaging with us customers as we each purchased our orders I felt so spoiled by the helpful men and one young woman and the service gets a 4/5 stars.

You wonder sometimes why you go there probably because I have had an account there for 35 years plus.

Have given up going to PlaceMakers. Never have what I want. Range is so small. Plus they have me the wrong price on product so when I went to pick up timber from another of their yards they wouldn’t honor the price. Wasted 4hrs of my day. Will never shop at PlaceMakers again

Needs serious rethink by management at this branch. Getting absolutely hammered by Mega Mitre10 & Bunnings in the area. Staff are unfriendly, don't want to go the extra distance and don't follow up on special order goods that need indenting.still waiting 4 weeks later.range of goods are over priced and small selection.

Helpful staff for the tinting of paint and there was also a staff member who asked if he could help. It was a weekend when I went and the store was much quieter than the other 2 closeby hardware stores I went to, however there didn't appear to be many staff on hand so I waited just as long for service as in the other places.
