Q Theatre reviews
67 Fun night out to see Briefs at Q Theatre - show was cheeky and clever and the Q team operated like a well oiled machine - wine list is interesting and love the Duck Island ice crea options!
Cheers team - a great way to get into the "spin" of the festive season.
Was only there for a Comedy Show (Alfred Adriaan) but the place was great. Easy access and lovely atmosphere. Parking not to far away as well. Enjoyed the visit there.
This is a lovely venue which was easy to get to, however we ended up getting stuck in a mob of people leaving the theatre when others were entering from the same door! Good food at the venue and options nearby!
Parking isn't too friendly for this venue, but the staff are very helpful and friendly. The venue itself is an excellent, intimate experience. Look forward to going again
This one’s for the amazing staff member who helped me and my pals attend Aunty Donna after missing the night we bought tickets for (because of my stupidity). They went well beyond my expectations and were super friendly and understanding! Will definitely be revisiting the Q theatre!
Always enjoyable, great performances, if you haven't seen a show at Q Theatre, you should!
Great staff, food, atmosphere, Theatre & clean bathrooms too! Ticking all the boxes. Saw Dustpalace / House of YOLO.
Nicely laid out theatre, easy to get around. Good banked seating in the loft. The chairs are definitely some of the more comfortable I've used for small theatres. Staff seem to really enjoy working there.
A great and intimate venue which allows the performance to be immersed in, excellent sound projection and a great view of the stage, no matter where you sit. Definitely go and see something exciting!
A really good theatre and very friendly staff. It's a pity the café was only serving fries that night.
A wonderful, hilarious, insightful clown caper for the 'oldies'. However, the publicity material including tickets and this request for response does not state the actors name.that's shameful! Cheers
'The Writer' was a terrific theatre experience, challenging, invigorating and entertaining.
Went for my pole gym’s showcase in the Rangatira theatre. Neat space, building has access from both sides of the building is handy for parking. Didn’t order drinks but the bar had a great vibe and everyone was enjoying themselves.
Good venue, sometimes shows don't run to time so there can be delays in other shows but nothing too major. Can be a bit confusing as to where you are going but plenty of staff and signs. Good layout in the theatre and it's nice that food and drink is available on site.
Was a really nice place, seats were really close together though which was a little uncomfortable. Staff were really friendly and the food looked nice.
One of the shows got cancelled and I didn't receive a notification to tell me that it had been cancelled. Requested for an 'urgent' refund and no one's given me an update for refund - it's now almost a week. Won't go browsing through their website for shows anymore so I'm actually glad this happened.
Loved the theater, such a great spot with awesome meals and drinks as well as great performances and comfortable seating
Always one step ahead of the rest, what a great venue for diversity and to catch the latest drama literally! Also great drinks and nibbles, and a customer-focussed dynamic young team!
Talent spills off the stage in greater quantity than Meera's charm attracts smiles.
Highly recommend to all.
Accidently bought tickets to pax assadi on the Friday not the Saturday. Staff still let me and my partner in anyway and found 2 seats for us. Was a crack up show at a great venue. We were very grateful and had an awesome night. Cheers!
How could you not like the QTheatre. Great bar for pre show drinks or just to meet up. We recently enjoyed a one person show which ws absolutely stunning. Had a meal in the Cafe after. Not up to pre covid standard with a limited menu but still adequate and enjoyable. Great friendly service.
