Went to watch a couple of doco movies as part of the festival that's now heading to Wellington. Awesome event, awesome movies and a great intimate venue. Would highly recommend. There are movies for young and old alike. Saw Buddy and Cause of Death. Brilliant!

Went there to watch a documentary and the theatre was really good. The seating is not similar to the commercial theatres and they have seats on both sides of the they're at the top.
Tasted the coffee at the cafe. They had only 1 size when I went. Honestly it was either bad coffee or the person didn't know how to make a Mocha.

Auckland's community NFP city theatre space. Fast and good cafe downstairs on the ground floor if you need feeding and watering before the show.

Good modern venue with several theatres. Spacious bar area downstairs and tickets to many events sold on site. Right in the CBD.

I have been here a few times to see a comedy act.
This theatre is always busy and could do with more tables or stools. It's a cool bar and theater. The bar staff are good so your not waiting for long.

Always a fantastic night out! Love going for a laugh with the girls! Always make sure to go whenever Urzila Carlson is performing!

Comedy Festival always a good thing, Q Theatre has more intimate spaces then any other theatre and therefore can take risks in the entertainment industry that you won't find another places

Great place to watch a show. Full of life and a bar for a quick nibble ans drink before heading in

Really nice theatre. It's pretty small so any seat gives you a good view. I had seats in the 'gods' section, on the side, closest set to the stage and found that it was a bit too far forward (it was just on top of the stage) so I would recommend getting ones after if possible.

Been here for brunch and for a show at night time. Food is great, plenty of option, coffee was great. Was a cool place to come and watch a comedy show. The "foyer"/bar area is big, has heaps of room and doesn't feel as though you are crammed when waiting for a show unlike other places. Pretty sure I read outside that the bar is not-for-profit too which is awesome.

Not a large meal, and on the pricey side, but a sizzling meat dish was packed with flavour. So was my companion's hamburger.

The building is modern and organized. Bar looks great! I went to watch the play called "Homos" and it's a great experience. Beautifully performed!

I really want to fault this place just for fun but I can't. From the service to the food to the cleanliness.it is perfect. Not high class but doesn't need to be, it's classy enough for the purpose it serves. My work team loved it, my family loves the place. Very welcoming.

This is a pretty cool and intimate theatre with a decent size bar. My only complaint was the poor bar etiquette. The barman spilled wine all down the outside of my glass and onto the bar and didn't seem to mind. I had to mop it up to stop it dripping onto me. Not how you pour a drink. Otherwise, great place!
