First 12 years of Tenancy was excellent but this year gone backwards fast. Do not get back to you when requesting information and maintenance requests.

I couldn't speak more highly about Rebecca and her team, being an out of town owner i left all the refurbishing and tenant work to Quinovic. They kept me informed throughout the entire process, the end results being a very happy owner.

No, I did not get the name wrong. My property is with you and under a LTD entity and you deal with with my husband.

Complete disgrace to the property management industry. They do not make the effort of answering phones calls, or emails and as landlord I am completely at their mercy due to their unethical way of locking landlords in via their contracts that are bound in with the renewal of tenants fixed terms. If you are a landlord and considering this company, do your DD and save yourself the headache. Don’t go. If this is how we get treated as landlords, I question their service to tenants.

Terrible to deal with. It took over 2 weeks for them to call my references and that was after calling their office for updates every second day. When we finally got the number of the house manager Rebecca, she didn't pick up any of my 8 phone calls, she would just reply to a text every 24 hours. After all this, I had to pull my application as they couldn't get their act together.

I would use my name publicly but why would I when the team at quinovic are bullies. Rented with them as a tenant and it was the worst experience of our life despite trying to come to some form of resolution with them, they did not want to hear it. If you have an opportunity to rent from quinovic I would highly suggest not doing it.

I highly recommend Quinovic Mt Eden! I have an apartment bought off the plans at least 15 years ago and and once it was built I put it with Quinovic and there it has remained. I find Kath great to relate too and I always feel 'heard' by her.

Quinovic has been managing our Auckland property for 28 years now and I cannot speak more highly of them. Right from the outset they have been extremely professional and communicative with us. If you are looking for a property agent to manage a property for you, I would highly recommend the Quinovic team.

One of the WORST property management teams that I’ve dealt with.

We should have known it would have been a horrible experience when we arrived to sign for our keys a year ago, to find that the office was locked. We knocked on the door, called the property manager and the landline number for over an hour before being let in.

This certainly wasn’t the end of it. Our initial property manager Maria would take over a week before she would reply to our messages. This was extremely difficult as we moved into a new build and was trying to report building damages in order for record keeping and repairs. Not long after we find that our property manager had quit. We did NOT receive any notification about being assigned a new property manager until we received an email from a new manager called Kath for a flat inspection. I thought Maria was bad at responding, Kath was worse.

Trying to contact Kath was like pulling teeth. She never answered her number. Her cell number is a business phone line which seems to be used for all of Quinovic Ponsonby. She would never reply to ours emails. It would take 3,4, maybe 5 emails of constant reminding her in order to get her to reach out. But you forget to pay rent once and she’s emailed you, called you and texted you in order to pay the rent immediately.

Flat inspections were booked sporadically and randomly. Kath never performed a single flat inspection. We would get random phone calls from employees of Quinovic randomly showing up to do our inspection instead. We were never told who would show up to do our inspections.

Quinovic and Kath were never available. The worst is having to deal with ending the tenancy. We kindly asked for an extension due to personal reasons. The extension was granted. We were given a specific date to move out as well as told to pay X amount as our final payment. We later found out she made a mistake and we are now to pay more money than what was on the final notice. Kath rudely stated that we needed to remember “the mucking about we put the owner and [herself] through for the extension” and that I now ‘owe’ her.

Lastly when trying to move out, our last day was on a Sunday. We returned the keys promptly on the Monday. We later came to find out that Kath, and Quinovic were performing viewings of the property before they had completed their final inspection of the unit (completed almost a week after we moved out). Kath didn’t even advise that the inspection was completed. It required another email from me asking whether it was done or not. Three weeks passed after we moved out and they FINALLY sent us the bond request form, after I had assertively asked for them to send us the form since it had been 21 business days.

We have had all-round appalling service from Kath and Quinovic Property Management. I strongly advise that you DO NOT USE Quinovic Property Management if you are an owner, and to stay clear from any property for which they manage. Worst experience in my life and some of the rudest and most unprofessional responses from a business.

When i pay in full for a product or service and I get only a part of it, and still be told that’s what you get, is when I call it “FRAUD” what do you guys call that?

That’s what happened to us with Quinovic (Mt Eden). Thanks to Rebecca Grinter & Kim van Gog and the entire team who made us feel like shitt. They are unfit for the job they do. Very Shoddy branch I’d say.

All the good ratings they have are from landlords but they treat tenants just like “cash cows”. Don’t even think of taking them to tenancy tribunal if you get in trouble and expect you’d win. They have all the dirty tricks in their books to manipulate you and the tribunal. Because there are few “GRINGOS” sitting in the tenancy Tribunal too.

So… if you are planning to choose Quinovic - Mt Eden for your next rental, or have already viewed a property or planning to sign a contract anytime soon…. Just run, don’t look back and save the trouble.

We too fell for the good reviews on their website but apparently most of them were from landlords. I hope my review as a troubled tenant helps someone else from these “wolves in sheeps clothing”

Unprofessional! Unapologetic! Just utterly pathetic service. Please do not ever waste your time emailing or calling them. Especially not Kim. Who does not have the time of day to acknowledge anything. We have moved house over a month ago, not a single reference was given when looking for a new property because the property manager we had, resigned! And no one thought of informing the tenants or replacing her. Email and calling like crazy with no response. A month before moving we notified them that we are moving out but still no one gets back to you. Don’t put yourself through this stress. If quinovic is the property manager at a property you are considering. Just forget about it as you will have endless problems. Most unprofessional company ever!

After refurbishing the property in 2009, we entrusted Quinovic with managing the property for us and we can't be any happier with the service they have provided. We have just sold the property and when we met the auctioneer on site, it was the first time for us at the property since 2009. Normal wear and tear is expected but when we walked in, it felt as if the tenants had treated the property as if it were their own. We were intending to bring in professional cleaners to tidy up the place before the auction but the tenants had left the place spic and span and the cleaners could not have done any better. The tenants were also prompt with their rentals. Many thanks Quinovic for the great job you have done for us

Most unprofessional business I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Extremely rude and take zero responsibility for their errors or miscommunications. Could not recommend less.

Not professional at all.
People can't comment anything bad cause they go n message them n threaten them on they private soical media seen alot of replies to bad comment.
If someone is giving bad reviews take that n improve no need to be salty and threatening people
Stop censoring your own reviews.
This is not a fake account the fact that we have screenshot of ur messages to people threatening them to remove they comment.

Debbie has looked after our home for many years while we have been based out of Auckland for work. She has been an amazing support - professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Happy tenants, well looked after and happy home owners. Exactly what we hoped for from both the agency and our ‘agent’. Thanks so much Debbie!
