Incompetent, lazy and generally unpleasant to deal with unless you adopted a servile tone. At one stage a plumber left a hole in the toilet wall which only got fixed by the landlord after I bumped into him and mentioned it (and he didn't know anything about it and came and fixed it right away). A similar incident occurred when the floor rotted out in the conservatory, and this was left until I directly contacted the landlord.

Held my bond because they wanted “advertising costs” after I left my periodic tenancy agreement after a few months due to unforeseen circumstances. After talking to many people from tenancy services about this (who had no idea about paying any advertising costs and thought this was a bit ridiculous) I took them to tenancy mediation - where they spoke to the mediator (who also thought this was a ridiculous request from their end) for about 1 minute and released my bond back to me. They were nice about it at the end but at the start they were very hostile and dragged it on a lot longer then it should have - saying that they will win in a tenancy tribunal. (Which they didn’t - and had no grounds to try get me to pay these extra costs). Overall I got my bond back but only through taking them to tenancy mediation.

Use with caution.

Barry and his team are all highly professional and knowledgeable. If you have an investment / rental property that needs effective management then look no further than Quinovic Mt Eden. This is NOT something that you attempt to DIY!

Agent named Sheryl is an example for how a real estate agent should'nt be. She organised a viewing and from the first meeting itself she was rude, she said shes one who is going to select the tenant and doesnt even had the patience to listen what we had to say, then again i tried to contact her through mail, text and call but theres no reply for anything. As a person with a customer sevice background i felt it surprising to see someone behaving such a way. She needs to understand that while at work she is representing the Organisation which she works for, truly disappointing.
