Great food, perfect eggs benny with incredibly well executed potato gratin. And delicious coffee, too.

Rad's food and coffee are delicious and their staff are friendly. In addition to the traditional kiwi breakfast, they also serve some food with a Vietnamese twist, which is great. The food was served very quickly and I will definitely visit again.

Nice coffee, attentive service. But we were sitting on hard benches which were a bit uncomfortable.

Rad never disappoints! The staff are always lovely and they do a great coffee. Love that the place is pet friendly, although now with covid, I would like to see more separate tables if space allows it

Terrific people, asked at 6: 30am for waffles for my nieces 4th birthday takeaway as the family is self isolating and birthday plans were all canceled. The waffles I here were not just a work of art but was delish too. 4 year olds comment on the smoothie "this is better yours Mum". Thank you for making her feel special

I highly recommend rad cafe. Friendly team, great food, a must try is the smoked kahawai super duper! The coffee is hands down the best in the area!

Very disappointing. Our meals came at different times, the big breakfast was VERY average (we could have cooked something with more flavour at home), the pork belly burger was ok, but the chips didn't even have salt. The coffee was luke-warm, and the toilets were filthy with no toilet paper.
I've never written a poor review for a cafe before - but we will never go back to RAD.

Big portions, good flavor, worth the price! I added a side of avo to my omelette expecting the dish not to be enough food to fill me but I didn’t need it. The sourdough toast and the tomato relish were both SO good.

Provided marshmallows without even needing to ask, hot chocolate is really really good and sizable. Nice loaf slice

Best eggs benny I've ever had! The pork hock and apple is very different to a traditional one, but it goes together so perfectly! And the black stack burger is ridiculously good! They crispy pork belly is definitely the star but not overpowering! 110% would recommend

Coffee and service were terrible. Very disappointing. Coffee price is quite expensive compare to other cafes, but not fulled in a cup and temperature was so low. There was a lady in glasses who looks like a maneger. She made me uncomfortable to stay there and not greeting at all. I won't go back to here.

This out-of-towner needed a space with coffee, wifi and a powerplug and I got it all here PLUS a friendly welcome! Great food, neat decor, if I lived closer I would definitely be back!

First time at Rad, and the food is amazing! Its Sunday afternoon and the cafe is bustling with people and staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu is full of attractive options. I had the Beef Lemon Grass Noodles.

Warm atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. My omelette was delicious and generously portioned, and I appreciated having a full and diverse menu to choose from. The Rocket Coffee was well made too. Will be back!

Great coffee (they have coconut, soy and oat as milk alternatives) and a nice piece of lemon cake to go with it. Plenty of room. Pity Mount Eden such a dangerous place for cycling to and through. Great café for a stop though for sure!

This café is more suitable for the younger set, the food is OK, coffee is a little overpriced in my view and the service is very average. A little pretentious for my taste, but if that's your sort of thing then you won't be disappointed.

Great customer service, staff was really nice and helpful with orders and questions. The coffee and food was nice and they had great music taste.bathrooms were kept nice and clean.overall I really enjoyed and would visit again.

Food and coffee used to be amazing before lockdown. We dined in today and the food and coffee was so so. Also, kitchen ran out of avocados and replaced them with the smallest portion of spinach I’ve had. So disappointed: (

What an amazing find! Staff were fantastic- quick to appear when they sensed you needed them without constantly 'hovering'. The food was superb! Great range and for those coeliac (gluten free) like myself there were plenty of tasty options! Add in really reasonable prices and you're onto a winner coming here! And I must remember to take photos of meals!
