RAD Cafe reviews
77I have an unhealthy obsession with this cafe. The coffee is amazing, the FoH staff are super friendly, and although I don't get food very frequently, whenever I do, it never disappoints
Nice café - coffee was good. Wasn't too impressed by food selection but what they do offer is very well made. It's tough being a café in Mt Eden given the established cafés that have been here for years are so good. Still, nice to see a café at the northern end of the village.
Best coffee in the village! Rad is exactly as it says in the name. Rad. The staff are great, patient, understanding, and really good at what they do. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and a nice place to spend some time.
The food is very tasty and fresh with some twists on the regular cafe menu. Always enjoy my visit here. Does get busy on the weekend, but during the week days you can often get a seat with no trouble.
I love RAD! Their staff are very knowledgeable about what I can eat there, given that I'm Coeliac, and I've never been sick from it. Their greengasm salad is my favourite! RAD is my go-to place to take other people in Mt Eden and it's a hit with everyone from hipster foodies to my mum. Particularly love the green tea infused water they serve.
Food is great. They don't have a big variety of desserts though. Staff is amazing, very friendly. Prices are reasonable. I always come back.
That waitress with nose pierced was very weird. She gave us a very unwelcoming look.gave us eye balls as if we were wasting her time while ordering.
We won't go there again.
Great food, people and service. Their version of French toast is awesome and their spin on eggs bene is impressive. Great coffee as well, tick, tick, tick.
Delicious food and husband enjoyed his coffee. Probably not the best place to take kids as it's quite busy.
Weirdly fake friendly. Place to take children if you want to look cool. Food was nice, coffee too weak.
Deeeliiiciousssssss eggs Benedict. Will be back for more. It was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Funky, great service (managed a special breakfast order for our little guy), certainly will be returning.
Mr Krabs Nori Taco really is 100% epic. Sticky rice wasn't sticky rice (glutinous) but it was still nice. Loved the octopus donuts and the salt slab cured kingfish was tasty.
Really great quality coffee and super friendly baristas. One of the few places I've found in NZ that does pour over coffee (which is big in the US). Leo clearly respects good coffee and gave me an amazing list of other pour over/good coffee spots in New Zealand. I went to Rad on two occasions towards the end of the day and both times received a free end-of-day pasty. Free wifi. Great neighborhood vibe.
Wow, awesome sercice here. Coffee was delicious (although not very hot, but still lovely). Thank-you!
I've been twice now and both times the food and service for myself and my dining companions has been exceptional. I'd highly recommend to anyone. Top start to a weekend. Delish!
Although there was a line, but the waiting process was well managed. Delicious food and very friendly service.
We usually go here for breakfast. The food is really delicious and enjoyable. Usually it is very busy and you have to wait on average 20-25 mins to be seated. The seating space is limited. Staff is well trained. It is more of 3.5 than 4. Sometimes it can get too over crowded.
