If your looking for a Bathroom renovation I would recommend Shower solutions

I had 5 different quotes that ranged from 18 k up to 45 k including Regency Plumbing that was disappointment

Grayson and the team are very efficient and completed a awesome job on the bathroom renovation

We found Grayson very helpful in designing our bathroom upgrade. He thought of things we hadn't thought of and provided ideas that definitely improved the functionality of the bathroom. He delivered the upgrade on time and to budget. We were very pleased.

The glass on our shower is good and the fittings are as expected (in brushed brass). However, the installation of the shower glass was not as we expected though and when we queried this with Grayson we were basically told it was what it was. As we'd paid a deposit we didn't feel we had any choice but to continue with Shower Solutions.

There is a significant amount of silicone around the channels. We've been told by others that this isn't best practice, nor does it look good, but Grayson stuck to his guns and told us that he wasn't willing to warranty anything else as it would cause waterproofing issues, allowing water to pass through the shower into the bathroom. Other shower installers disagree.

Instead though, we've been left with a gap in our channel, in which water is passing through and presumedly building up inside the channels. We pointed this out to the installer who said it wasn't an issue. That seems strange considering they were so concerned about applying extra silicone elsewhere, but water is being allowed to pass through into the channel itself.

Our installer also forgot to apply to glass protection product but raced back upstairs when we queried it. It doesn't work well after only a few months and very little aftercare was given - we're unsure it this was due to incorrect/fast application, if the product just isn't up to scratch or if it's due to lack of care instructions.

We've since been told of others who are having issues with Shower Solutions and their customer service.

We are going elsewhere for our next shower, paying significantly less in the process. We'll also be using diamond fusion as that seems to be one of the only products that actually guarantees itself.

Within a few days a hefty unagreeed amount was added to the invoice.
Within a few months the silicone seal deteriorated and mould set in. Within a couple of years the shower started pealing from the wall.
Also the new extractor fan doesn't work and can see it was not installed properly.

In general, the work has been done well and as a result the bathroom has been modernised and transformed. But in order to achieve this result, we had to point out to several imperfections and insist on the remediation of them which in the end was done. We would like to recommend to the management of the company to contact the customer more actively giving their professional recommendations and advice in order to avoid situations of customer dissatisfaction. Also, it would be good for the owner of the business to monitor the quality of the work done by different contractors in the process of renovation step by step, not just via one visit once the renovations are complete.

I got a full bathroom replacement done with Shower Solutions and happy to say I would definitely recommend this company. Grayson and the team he engaged in the project were all well informed with the task on hand and each of them carried out the work very professionally. I was always informed of who I would expect on site which made it so much easier to plan my day with no surprises.

Awful Customer Service & Tiring Experience - all for 1 Glass Shower Door. I initially enquired with Grayson about 1 glass panel / door for our new build, advised we are based in Northland & looking for supply only. Advised we don't want to pay through the roof for freight & if it would be a viable option for a quote. Grayson confirmed multiple times via phone & email that our door could be freighted for free with another job up here in Northland. After communicating via email & phone for months about the order, to then realising the door had been made incorrectly, all the blame was put on us, even though we had sent images of what we wanted, and described it many times. Worked out a solution, and then was told the "job" would be within a week & it could be picked up. 2 days later I asked for the pick up address, to be told the job is now finished & it had to be picked up from Auckland. After attempting to contact Grayson via email, text, phone (personally & the office), he refused to contact me for over a week (I had to be pretty persistent to get a response). Not only were we out of pocket by almost $1300, but one thing we wanted to avoid was having to travel over 3 hours to transport a shower door, which Grayson didn't care about promising & not fulfilling that promise or willing to discuss any compromise or options. My partner kindly offered to take a day off work (he does not work in Auckland, nor has he ever - the response below is a blatant lie) to travel down after organising with Grayson 5 days in advance, in which he advised it would be thoroughly packaged for us. Not only when he turned up at 8am (yes he left home at 5am to travel down as the hours are 8am-4pm Monday to Friday!) was it not packaged AT ALL, but the door handle was missing & hadn't been ordered. Such awful customer service, no care for the people who are just wanting a simple job done & have had to pick up the pieces from Grayson's mess. This was such an awful, stressful & upsetting experience for such a simple job, I don't recommend this company or service at all. But, the lovely office lady who was so apologetic & lovely upon pickup was much appreciated, and she then chased up the door handle to have it couriered to us separately. Not worth the fuss!

I would love to see the "correspondence" in mention as I can happily provide the emails back & forth where delivery was discussed in the early stages of being provided for "free" and the basis as to why we decided to go through with the order - the hinges became an issue at the end when we realised the door had been made incorrectly, and the hinges for glass to tile weren't required. Absolute blatant lies.

The back & forth & failing to take any responsibility for this complete mess of a situation is a huge red flag. We are good people, and I definitely am not the type to leave bad reviews however this experience was so awful I would hate for someone else to have to experience it. We pay credit where credit is due, and Grayson is not due any. No apology, no responsibility and no care whatsoever for paying customers is awful.

Shower Solutions have just provided two frameless glass showers on one of our renovation projects. Their turn around time was super fast and attention to detail was especially appreciated. These are the guys you want!

Grayson was very prompt and efficient and moreover was able to start the job immediately. We were on a time constraint and this suited our purpose. He coordinated well with the other contractors like the tiler, painter, plumber and electrician, getting everything done seamlessly.

Hello, top marks to Grayson and his team, shower got measured up the day I rang, fantastic service, had the tracks fitted on Tuesday this week and this morning the new glass door went in. Excellent value for money. Nav the installer did a fantastic job all level, cleaned up any mess, wonderful, very efficient service, WELL DONE SHOWER SOLUTIONS.

I highly recommend Shower Solutions. They carried out an extensive kitchen and bathroom renovation, which has transformed my home, exceeding my expectations. Really happy with the work done. We had an old bathroom in a state home that needed to be replaced as we have gotten older and our needs changed. Bath with shower above removed and large shower in its place with a sliding door for us to safely get in and out of. Thank you for taking the time to help and working with our requirements.

I have no hesitation in recommending Shower Solutions. We recently renovated three bathrooms and used their services to provide and install shower glass. They were very efficient, punctual and cost effective. We are currently using them for another project.

Six months of stress trying to sort shower leak - much refuting and denial and inadequate attempts by SS and cost of independent report finally got sorted after another party took them to Fair Go - do not recommend

Update: independent report was emailed to SS by my lawyer on 14.04.22 and a hard copy offered to SS employee who came out
