41I had a chip on the car that created a line/crack on the windscreen and I quickly booked through my insurance company and Smith and Smith Botany dealt with it quickly and service was professional and easy. Would recommend them!
I had a crack in my windshield and booked it in for replacement. When I went to pick the vehicle up I noticed that some of the plastic trim around the glass has not been secured with clips. When I opened the bonnet to further inspect, i found even more loose plastic. I asked them to resecure the trims, some of which were not even fixed to the vehicle, just sitting on it.
When I got into the car it smelt damp and had fogged up windows and the seats were damp. Had obviously been left out in thaf days rain storm. When I got home I realised they had not put the VIN plate back in view under the glass.
Totally slack service. Would not recommend.
Been in reception for 30 mins after pressing the bell, had 2 different workers see me and nit say a word

Window got smashed late November. Booked it for replacement just before Christmas. Got told the day of booking, that they didn't have the glass because of the "supplier". It was rebooked to mid January. Took the car in, they didn't have the glass and hadn't told me prior then said it was the "supplier". They then re-booked it one week later for the end of Jan. Three days later it was then rebooked again to the middle of March.because of the "supplier".
Fed up with them just not doing their job, I called Novus instead, who instantly called their supplier, booked me for the next day and did it. Absolute waste of time with Smith & Smith
I booked for my rear window replacement for 10 days. Every now and then, I received a reminder for my booking.
A day before my booking, I received a text reminding me of my booking for the next. All of a sudden, I received a call telling me that they have to rebook my appointment.
I already took a leave for that day, cancel all my appointments. And I need to fix my car for health and safety purposes.
I immediately called other company, and they said they can fix my car the next day.
No direct line to call branch. Call centre were rude during rescheduling of the repair while being weeks apart from first booking.
Very easy to book online for insurance claim. Dropped car in the morning for a whole new Windscreen due to large crack and it was done in a few hours. When driving home I noticed the lights were always on when in auto mode. Took it back and the cause was the light/rain sensors had been damaged during the process (easy mistake in these modern cars with sensors in the windscreen/rear view mirror). No problems with the team tho! They ordered the new part from BMW and I came back a few days later and they sorted it out and cars back to normal. Great after care!
I had the glass replaced at this shop and I thought they did a good job. A partner you can trust.
Left another window down that they weren’t replacing and filled my car with water and mould. Would never recommend this place.
We received the confirmation of appointment three weeks ago, plus two reminders on last Friday and yesterday before the appointment of this morning. After we cancelled our customers appointments and took time to arrive there, the staff checked their workshop, then told us that the windshield was not delivered yet.
Poor management and communication between internal departments.
Spent over an hour on the phone arranging to get my windscreen fixed in Eat Tamaki. Pre paid for two chips.
Arrived only to be told they would not fix it.
When asked why i was told legislation prevents them fixing it.
When I asked why I could go to Pak and Save Car par Park and get it fixed they had no answer and told me to go away?
I crossed the road to 135 Harris Rd. Quality windscreen repair and they fixed it on the spot.
I know where to go next time?
Time I was booked in was 1 hour and the job to fix a window chip was completed within that time. Great service and friendly professional staff.

The worse ever job I got done by smith and smith glass. I took my Bmw 320i to get the rear window glass replaced on 20/10/21 and when I went to pick up my car after work i was shocked to see the scratches all over the rear panel. And when I told the guy to have a look at it he totally denied as it wasn’t their fault, they did not do it and said they are not responsible for this and not going to fix it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my mate!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Absolute time wasters! Had a cracked windscreen and my insurance company organized it to be fixed here.waited 3 weeks to be seen, and also called up the day before to ensure that they had the right window, which the lady on the phone assured me they had it in stock.came back at the end of the day to pick up car and it was not fixed because they did not have the window.they also lost the trim that goes between the window and the car, which left me with a leaky window to drive in rainy weather.they told me to make another appointment 3 weeks later, so I took my car else where.absolute time wasters - take your business else where.
Waited 2 weeks for appointment to replace my window, fair enough, the glass had to be ordered.
I arrive for my appointment at 1pm and then got told my glass was sent to the wrong branch but they will try sort it out and give me a call.
4pm comes and still no word from Smith &Smith so I start calling to find out what is going on.
All I got is an apology and that they have informed the solutions team and a promise someone will contact me.
10: 30am the next day and still no one has contacted me.
I took time off work and arranged for someone to take me home while they replace the glass so that's 2 people's time and money wasted.
I eventually phoned my insurance company and asked them to arrange another supplier and just like that I have another appointment with another company for the next day.
And still have not had a single phone call from Smith &Smith.

These guys repaired a chip in my windscreen today, and this was the best service Ive received from any business in a very long time. Although being flat out busy they remained friendly, professional, efficient, 10/10. Hopefully i wont need them again but I would highly recommend.
Very easy booking process with a number of locations to choose from. Dropped it off Saturday morning then walked to the closest shopping mall for a cup of coffee though there is a cafe next door. Got a text a couple of hours later saying to pickup. Car vacuumed and all windows cleaned. Wof and rego back on windscreen neatly.
