Rang and booked a flood restoration after my grandma’s house flooded. Received an appointment confirmation email with time, date, address and details for later the next day. After waiting an hour for them to turn up at the appointment time I called only to be told it was an “automated email” and no appointment had been booked. Utterly useless customer service.

Always use Chemdry. Not the cheapest by any means. They charge by the square metre even with furniture. But very efficient, fast dry and never wet carpet. Done in summer so super fast dry.

I leave you all to decide if this company is honest, friendly, yes. Competent yes, but transparent no, exorbitantly expensive, yes.
I got our driveway cleaned by a company, water-blasted large areas, for 540.00
I got the roof sprayed. Gutter cleaned and a brick house washed, 678.00 plus 7 split tiles replaced. This company is 30 years in businesd. Im just offering comparison. Job, time plus difficulty, waterblaster, 4 hours, roof cleaner, 7 hours. Trudy from chemdry 5.5 hours.
I got some (10 mats different sizes) 4 rooms plus a home theatre seating (8 leather) cleaned abd was charged 2200.00 when i asked, after realising how extortionate the prices were (signed off before really paying attention) for a price breakdown on how the mats were priced (one mat at 6sqm) was 109.00, i have gotten silence. I was advised at first of this 5 dollars per sqm but none of the mats were charged at that rate, then i was told its not charged thevsame as the carpet, wby i asked, no response. Nothing different was done, not moved not done on both sides, so im very confused.
The friendly chatter is a distraction tactic to lull you into complacency to sign off on this ridiculous over priced pretext of them doing something different to mats so can charge whatever they want. The mats are nothing special.not persian or expensive. Just to kerp my dogs from slipping on tiles.
Ill take this rip off on the chin coz i stupidly signed off.
You pay attention on how anything is priced.
They are not honest, or they would've sent me a breakdown on how a mat size is determined as to small medium or large.apparently the tech on the day decides.no guidelines. Very expensive but valuable lesson for me. Hope it benefits someone else to prevent this gauging by a company i trusted.

I can highly recommend the services of Chem-Dry! They were referred to us by our insurance company and their service was excellent.
We had dealings with them over a period of three weeks due to flood damage (overflowed bath incident)
They were always professional, polite, considerate, and highly effective in dealing with the issues.

Stewart cleaned my lounge suite and was very professional in all aspects.
He explained to me what chemicals were used and said he used and extra fragrance spray to help with the pet smells. Delightful young man.
Would definitely recommend him and your company to friends and family.

It was lovely to meet Debra who did a wonderful job of cleaning our carpet. She was bright and friendly. I would love to have her back again to clean all our carpets in our house at a later date in the Summer time. It certainly gave me a boost to see the carpet squares in the spare bedroom lovely and clean again after our flood damage due to a burst water pipe.

I cannot fault these lovely people. I was majorly let down by another service and the lovely staff at Chen-fry manage to get someone to my house that day. Carpets looked great and I cannot thank them enough for their help. Sorry I didn’t take photos but carpets came up a treat.

Prompt friendly service, but unfortunately I didn't feel that the carpet was cleaned very well at all

Definitely did amazing things cleaning our carpet it looks so much better thank you! However my only small criticism is that part of the reason I went with Chem-Dry is that they talk about how less water is used and it dries in hours - this is definitely not the case and our carpets are still damp after a couple of days drying with fans. But still the cleaning is great and the technician was very professional and that’s the most important part so I would use again!
